The Liechtenstein GARDEN PALACE – an insider’s tip for luxury weddings in Vienna

Just imagine: a romantic ride in a horse-drawn carriage, the gates opening to reveal a magnificent palace. A red carpet leads you into the elegant Sala Terrena with its white columns and the Golden Wedding Coach at its centre. A sparkling glass of champagne to welcome you while you stroll on the sunny terrace and let your gaze rest on the extensive gardens with their luxuriant rose beds. There amid the dreamlike flowers is where it happens: the ‘I do’ you’ve been waiting to say for so long. The sun sinks slowly behind the ancient plane trees. A palatial staircase leads up to the festively lit Hercules Hall. Elegant porcelain, fine glassware and romantic flower arrangements await your guests for a sumptuous dinner. A little later comes the wedding cake, the lights are dimmed, music entices people onto the dance floor. By dawn all these moments are dreamlike memories that will endure forever.

In Vienna, city of romance, all your wedding dreams can come true. The Liechtenstein GARDEN PALACE is available as an elegant venue for luxury weddings: a Baroque palace in the middle of Vienna, surrounded by extensive gardens.

What makes it unique: the palace has been in the private ownership of the Princes of Liechtenstein, one of Europe’s oldest noble lineages, for over three hundred years. A valuable insider’s tip: on display in the galleries of the palace are highlights from the art collection of the Prince von und zu Liechtenstein, which can only be viewed during exclusive events or on a private guided tour. The holdings constitute one of the most important private collections in the world. Major works of European art from the early Renaissance to the High Baroque are among the treasures kept at the GARDEN PALACE, including masterpieces by Rubens, Rembrandt and Raphael.
