Fascination „earth”

Gently warming sunrays welcome a new day. This day is an exceptional one. Nature awakens. Curious and full of expectation it is waiting for special events to happen.

Finally: next to her groom a beautiful bride appears among the morning sunlight that makes her beauty and grace shine even brighter. Naturally, down-to-earth, plain. Yet elegant, authentic and absolutely modern!

With his latest workshop Erich McVey once again topped everything he ever did before. In cooperation with eventdesigner Ginny Au he perfectly implemented the fourth and last element of his workshop-series – earth.

This time various earth-tones and a freshly picked appearing bridal bouquet underlined the natural theme. Light pink and the amazing sunlight granted the ambience the perfect amount of elegance.

With her unbelievable pictures photographer Shannon von Eschen wants to take us back to the scenery. Stunningly she captured countless impressive moments of this workshop on her camera.

“I have been to a lot of workshops.” She told. „But this one. This one. It was absolutely amazing! Erich McVey is not only an artistic genius, he is kind, funny, and overly generous. I am still floating in the clouds after being at his workshop and getting to meet the amazing talents and industry artists he works with on a daily basis. I won’t lie: Getting to meet Ginny Au and photograph her work was probably the biggest highlight of my year… This shoot was only one of four “element” themes shoots we did, but it was one of my favorites. This couple was styled and even given descriptive words to evoke the emotions and feeling of “Earth.” I will forever look at photography differently and with more with fluidity, emotion, and soul. Film has changed me and made me so deeply happy. But this workshop? It’s given me so much more!”

Let´s get infected by the passion Shannon von Eschen share for photography and dive with us into the simple yet fascinating element „earth”.
