Modern Spring Colors Inspirations

With an explosion of colors, the impressive pictures of this magnificent bridal world by photographer Sarah Windecker help us excape from every gray autumn day.

Bleak walls, bare concrete floors and huge windows give the powerful tones room to unfold. Where they meet, they merge into a unity without giving themselves up.

As I began my creative process and planning, I knew I wanted the backdrop to be a ‘clean’ slate filled with lots of good light and some texture.“ event stylistin Kim of Drops Of Honey Designs told us.I wanted the shoot elements to stand on their own and not compete with the backdrop.“

One of these elements was the extravagant, flowing dress, which glided down a spirited grace with gossamer panels and apparently laid the foundation for Kim’s visions. „The dress provided by Leanne Marshall Designs set the tone for the color palette, but my usual design aesthetic is to incorporate some unexpected design elements which is where the pop of color came in with the table linen choice & chair colors.“

And so dark turquoise, rich yellow and bright blue joined to date dominant shades of blush and orange, which not only merge in the ornate stationery of Kelly Design Co.

A fear of utilizing a ‘modern’ theme was I didn’t want it to feel cold & uninviting,.“ event stylistin Kim admits. „By bringing in Emily Reynolds Design to do florals I loved how her designs softened the setting and added the touch of romance, which we all seem to love!“

We too are in love with the bold color combination, the extraordinary motives and the innovative, creative approach of the entire team, which we recognize on every single picture that Sarah Windecker took so impressively.
