Secret Garden

There is a light that shows me the way, 
To a secret garden, with a fragrant bouquet
And as I enter through its welcoming gates,
To savor all that for me awaits - I can‘t help but wonder why the light chose me,
Why fate gave me the garden‘s key.

It does not require much effort to transform Schloss Obermayerhofen into a place of tradition and romance. The mystical garden presents itself with many corners and nooks that would be impossible to explore in just a single lifetime. Dark shades of green and wild berries surround the high pine trees.

We follow a bride into the grounds in order to catch a glimpse of the past ourselves. Which king might have celebrated here? Which queen held her marriage feast here? Today, a loving couple is following in their footsteps.

Noble, golden cutlery accompanies classic plates, while rustic wooden chairs harmoniously unite the herbs and fruit draped across the table. The calligraphy of the invitation cards of Goldmarie is supported by colourful flowers and leaves. Green, white and red also make up the overall image of the day.

The white cream cakes of Mehlspeisenfräulein already await the invited gourmets who won’t be able to resist the little cakes with cream and blackberries either. Our gaze is diverted and meets upon the beautiful bride, in her white dream of lace, long sleeves and a seductive cleavage. Her back, too, causes something of a stir, with just a breath of nothing caressing it.

Here, this bride will step before the altar today. In a palace filled with centuries of history, surrounded by a reverent, solemn silence. Discretely, we withdraw to leave this great moment to her alone. What remains is the soft orchestra playing from the enchanted garden…
