The vastness of the sea, a secluded coastal landscape, crashing waves and fine sand were perfect backdrops for this ravishing editorial captured in a poetic imagery by photo artist Ditto Dianto.
When delicate ballet dancers float gracefully through the air like elves, our feelings and emotions are set into gentle vibrations. The graceful movements caress our senses and are an expression of magical beauty.
A perfect interplay of colors and shapes unites the details to a seductive variety of inspiration – what you discover is feather-light, encouraging and fascinating.
From Ditto Dianto: “This shoot is heavily inspired by ballerina paintings by French impressionist painter, Edgar Degas. The pastel palette, a combination of the rocky beach, stunning dress movements, whimsical florals, and a sea-colored cake resulting in the most romantic & luxurious bridal portraits inspiration.
The details also showcase the bride’s authentic ballerina shoes, her bridal hair accessories by Grace De Bloom and a custom invitation suite from Seniman Calligraphy.
Our custom wedding cake by La Vie Douce Design had the most beautiful translucent floral touches and stunning design which blew us away as it looked like a piece of art itself!
A bouquet match in heaven with a timeless floral arrangements featuring a blend of Ranunculus, Poppy and Sweet Pea from Vo Floral Design.
It was not the most friendly weather we were dealing with during the shoot. Heavy gusts of winds were a real challenge throughout the day. But in the end all the movements it created are something magical to be captured and everything was worth it.”
Today we take you to Greece, where Dimitra and Alex celebrated their gorgeous pool wedding with atmospheric white, gold and green tones. A white wedding palette embodies familiar softness and simple elegance. Elegance is the constant that looks charming when it is transparent, light and romantic.
If you love weddings that hold all these secrets and have a soft spot for Greece’s stunning, natural beauty, you’ll fall in love with this couple who said yes to each other under the sun in Syvota.
Fine Art Photographer Lefteris Kalampokas pays equal attention to each element with his magical imagery from the big moments to the fine details, artfully capturing the beautiful moments of the day.
The fantastic team of Meli Weddingss conjured a stunning setting with versatile details with a great sense of style and aesthetics.
Fresh seafood worthy of Poseidon, bronzed septuagenarians playing backgammon in the afternoon heat, traditional village-life playing out with smiling inhabitants enjoying the cool evening breeze, centuries-old wells dotted among ancient olive groves and beckoning white sands before an unspoiled cerulean-blue sea – that’s Syvota for you, one of the most beautiful bays in Lefkada and our bride’s dream destination.
Our inspiration came from our bride, Dimitra herself. Innately sophisticated, confident that everything is possible, winningly upbeat, and super-fun to hang out with. What else can a planner ask for? Perhaps to build a wonderful relationship that somehow manages to evolve into a friendship? Winner! Designing for someone you’ve come to consider a friend puts things on a whole new perspective.
We wanted to give her all she had ever dreamed of and more. To that, we sought out the most beautiful hillside villa in Syvota. Dream was one that would combine the chic and sleek aesthetic to match her personal style, bobbed with the relaxing sounds of rippling, clean aqua, and the perfect spot to elevate her entire wedding experience.
What does a bride need to feel like royalty on her big day? A dimension-adding, purposeful, iteration of sparkle. Enter Dimitra’s tiara which added the cat’s meow to her feline-style eyemakeup and brought on that big, irresistible smile of hers to shine. We made sure her timeline allowed for easy-going preps surrounded by her family and friends, some gorgeous getting-ready portraits alone and with her girls, and a spin of dance before she walked down the aisle.
When everyone was ready guests took their seat fans-in-hand and watched stunning Dimitra stride teary-eyed towards her groom, escorted by Greek traditional musicians a special tribute to her roots and a wink to her beloved father.
Dimitra and Alex were already married on paper. Following the arrival of their sons and a C-19 long pause, their symbolic ceremony was one of the most exciting and tear-jerking moments on their day. Exchanging their vows was special, but what left no dry eye in the place was how the entire family united after they were audibly pronounced husband and wife before everyone.
Their boys ran down the aisle to hug them; everyone cheered; it was simply electrifying. We set the couple’s arch facing the magical pairing of the villa’s smaller pool and the vast sea views below. All-white Chiavari with dove grey cushions, decked with arrangements, stately white blooms trimmed with greenery, and gold sheens against the marble villa gave the ceremony a classy, polished look. The couple’s cocktail bar-cum-dessert display framed the ceremony so beautifully.
Following the couple’s vows, their photographer whisked them away for portraits around the villa, and guests enjoyed cocktail hour on the terrace. We curated the reception by the larger pool placing rotundas around and the newlyweds’ mirror-topped table smack in its bank. Crystal chandeliers and glassware paired so effortlessly to gold cutlery and flower stands. Friends & family of the bride and groom found their way to their tables on full-moon-shaped escort cards enveloped in plexiglass.
White hydrangeas, chrysanthemum magnum, Mondial roses, lisianthus, and Mediterranean greenery added a tactile sense of texture and balanced the entire scheme. The couple also repurposed their circular arch at the ceremony to surround the cocktail scene. Against the dusty riot of pinks in the sky when the sun went down, the sparkly peplum of fairy lights above, and the scintillating pool waters, it was a magical thing!
Nothing beats a wedding party in Greece. From signature cocktails after the couple’s favorite flavors to foodie experiences and culinary surprises we made sure the guests were fueled enough for an all-nighter danceathon. First came traditional dances, then a five-minute firework show, and then everyone rocked the wooden decks till the wee hours.
Nestled in a beautiful park, the magnificent estate of Chateau Saint Georges on the Côte d’Azur overlooks the medieval town of Grasse. The chateau has been called “Le Petit Versailles” and is a landmark in the south of France, built by the famous perfumer Leon Chiris. The region is characterized by beautifully situated villages and rolling hills covered with olive trees.
Authenticity, gentleness, poetry and delicacy are some of the main points that make up the photography of Thomas Audiffren aus. Also this time he inspires with his artistic imagery.
From La Blonde et le Barbu Design: “The colors that are just as subtle as they are bursting take on a wide palette of colors: from soft pale pink to the large lily of a deep pink, passing through the mauve of tulips with a yellow heart.
The main arch is of an Asian-Korean inspiration, in two separate parts, the floor looks like vegetal moss, and the branches in height accompanying the very natural movement in front of the sublime window of the large living room.
In keeping with the Versailles style and the gilding of the castle, the sofa is the place of fulfillment for young girls who adorn themselves in their most beautiful dress in an elegant and powerful floral decor.
A marvelous painting “the lucky coincidences of the Escarpolette” by Jean-Honoré Fragonard is illustrated above the bedroom door, evoking the freshness of our young dancers.”
Idyllically located, The French Farmhouse Venue is a charming property in rural Collinsville, Texas. Situated on a picturesque property with gorgeous meadows, the Farmhouse has been carefully decorated with beautiful antiques and features French accents to create a romantic ambiance with a rustic flair.
Peyton and Christopher celebrated their dream wedding at this magical venue, saying their yes under a dreamy wedding tree with family and friends. They were assisted with style, attention to detail and a sense of aesthetics by the wedding planners at A Toast Custom Event Planning.
Let photographer Stephanie Michelle’s beautiful pictures take you away to a romantic and inspiring wedding world.
From Published + Pretty: “Lots of tears, emotions and sentimental moments were exchanged by parents, bridal party and the guests. What an extraordinary honor to have been able to witness 2 beings, who were undoubtedly made for each other, choose to spend the rest of their lives side-by-side.
Styles by vero started by day glamming up all the ladies. The first look with the bridesmaids was one for the books. What an emotional moment for all the girls + sisters. You could feel the gratitude filling the room between the Bride & Groom. Christopher & the boys suited up and had fun in the sun for their portraits. Queenie’s heartfelt pinning of the boutonniere with the Groom. The ring carriage. The family bible “an heirloom”. The beautiful tribute to family members who reside in heaven. These are just some of my favorite details.
Monique Lhuillier created the most undeniably show-stopping, romantic and fresh lace couture dress customized for Peyton. It’s by far the most gasp-worthy wedding gown to ever be made. The composition on Peyton’s frame, the laced sleeves and ballgown shape – to die for.
Peyton waited a lifetime to give her soon to be husband the most incredible, thoughtful and priceless gift. Her childhood diary filled with all the qualities and prayers she lifted up to almighty God – just for her husband. For Peyton, a Pearson family heirloom given to her by Queenie. Their family engagement ring which was worn by the bride throughout her wedding day.
By far, the most emotional and intimate vow reading ever witnessed. Sweetest words were exchanged by both. A cherished prayer right before they parted. Most definitely unforgettable moments.
The sweetest moments – Sister of the groom showing her love in sign language as she took her place coming down the aisle. Moments of prayer from everyone including the littles. The rush of emotional moments of Peyton walking down the aisle. The mouthing of “You are SO beautiful” as Christopher faced Peyton at the alter. The hilarious moment walking back up the aisle after the kiss. Everyone could tell, Christopher waited his entire life for this moment and we knew, he’d finally found THE ONE!
Surrounded by their families, Peyton & Christopher took a moment to share with their immediate families the radiant joy of wedded bliss.
Nothing more magical than wrapping up your wedding day with your family & friends giving you a sparkler exit. Congratulations Mr & Mrs Pearson, here’s to an abundance of love & loves and a lifetime of wedded bliss!”
If you know the league the successful fine art photographer Louise of Taylor & Porter in, you know we´re about to experience something unique, and that´s fascinating wabi sabi bridal inspirations.
These spectacular shots were taken in April, during her lavish Northern Skies Photography workshop at the historic St. Giles House in England.
The numerous settings and motifs were staged and styled by Sofia Ferreira, Creative Director & Stylist bel Brancoprata. With customary love and dedication to detail, she practiced the perfection of the motto wabi sabi. Even though this time it was not about being perfect, as we learn: „In traditional Japanese aesthetics, wabi sabi is a world view centered on the acceptance of transience and imperfection. The aesthetic is sometimes described as one of beauty that is “imperfect, impermanent, and incomplete”. In other words, wabi sabi acknowledges three simple realities: “Nothing lasts, nothing is finished, and nothing is perfect.“
These three principles formed, if you will, the framework of a living work of art that sought to be filled with beauty and aesthetics. Again, the successful stylist was inspired by the Buddhist faith: „In Zen philosophy, there are seven aesthetic principles in achieving wabi sabi: Kanso – simplicity, Fukinsei – asymmetry or irregularity, Shibumi – beauty in the understated, Shizen – naturalness without pretense, Yugen – subtle grace, Datsuzoku – freeness, Seijaku – tranquility.“ she explains to us.
Those principles can be found in a subtle yet impressive way within the delicate flower arrangements by Jo Flowers or the elaborate stationery by Esther Clark Co. Finally, Sofia Ferreira even draws our attention to a very special detail: „A great example of wabi sabi in creativity is the art of kintsugi, where cracked pottery is filled with gold dusted lacquer as a way to showcase the beauty of its age and damage rather than hiding it. The fault is not hidden but highlighted.Wabi sabi is the beauty in imperfection, and the acceptance of the cycle of life and death.“
We are very impressed by what we see on the amazing photos shot by Taylor & Porter. Deeper and deeper, we dig into her world and are addicted to the perfectly imperfect details she captured.
This bridal editorial was held in The Ohio Statehouse, a historic landmark in the state’s capitol built over 150 years ago in a Greek Revival style. The greek-inspired architecture lent itself perfectly to this refined shoot, as you can see in the intricate details and overall symmetry & balance.
Marissa Belle is a photographer with heart and soul. With her images she captures the most touching moments and we love her talent to perceive every detail and make it a work of art.
Together with event designer Alexa Kate and a dedicated team, she created this stylish and sophisticated editorial.
I was really drawn to the neutral color palette because it allowed the textures in the head table and paper goods of Lupine Letters to really stand out, and it all felt very harmonious together with the greek-revival styled interior of the Statehouse building.”
The Villa Catignano is set amidst picturesque hills in Tuscany. The classic beauty of Catignano combined with its history, art and idyllic landscape creates the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable wedding.
This intimate Italian editorial by event designers Si Weddings in Italy and Elena Casagni exudes a mesmerizing romance. With a harmonious color palette of terracotta tones, lush greenery, ivy on the walls, flowers and citrus trees, the result was a warm, inviting and effortlessly elegant atmosphere full of beauty and elegance.
The charm of the idyllic property inspired the team in designing the many details. We marvel at the ravishing stationery by Nancy Huang by Design, to the graceful gown by stylist Elisa Lecle, to the table decorations brought to life by Preludio divisione noleggio and Flowerswed.Amidst the villa’s sprawling grounds, sweet fragrances and a gorgeous array of plants and flowers seduce.
We watch a striking bride as she embarks on an unforgettable journey of love. With photographer Stephanie Lynn’s stunningly beautiful images, we imagine an intimate ceremony in the ancient chapel followed by a dreamy stroll through the Italian garden. Intoxicated by the tastes and aromas of this incredible country, we indulge in the warmth of the sun and immerse ourselves in the enchanted atmosphere of an Italian dream.
Rustic elegance and natural wedding charm in lavender tones
Event designer Kristina Embree of Harlow Events conjured up a liaison of delicate lilac tones, rustic charm and natural ambiance with this editorial. We are impressed by the symbiosis of elegance and playfulness, the art of uniting clean lines and soft curves, and the talent of artfully blending detail-loving components under the aspect of naturalness.
“For centuries, lavender has been lauded for its healing properties. It was used as an insect repellent by the Romans, a perfume by theGreeks, and in healing concoctions by monks in the Middle Ages. But being the color of royalty, lavender’s purple hue denotes refinement andluxury. The flowers from a lavender plant are symbolic as well–gathered in a bouquet, they represent devotion or luck.” (From Town & Country)
From Kara Moon of Enjoue Studio: “The design inspiration for the wedding at The Ritz Carlton Bachelor Gulch was inspired by the purple mountain majesty of our beautiful Rocky Mountains. The lavender hues in the color palette along with the soft touches of blush, blues and white are reminiscent of the luminous evening sky in the Vail valley. We styled each scene of the wedding day to tie in the rusticelegance of the log timber architecture to pair with the soft and feminie tones of the decor elements.
The ceremony scene took place on the skier’s bridge. During the summer months, this site is covered in natural green grass and boasts of views of the surrounding peaks. Majestic pine and aspen trees framed the couple with soft romanticblooms on pedestals for the front of the altar.
For the reception space, we choose the Anderson Cabin for the romantic intimate dinner. The table was set with layers of subtle textural linens to complement the vintage French limoges tableware. Combined with the delicate china patternswe added modern matte gold flatware and clean lined oval back chairs with an acrylic back. Vintage mix and matchcrystal was also used for a creative touch as each place setting for the guests was unique.
On the main reception table, the floral centerpiece from Erin Ashley Design was asymmetrically arranged to create the mood of wild beauty. Eachbloom was added for texture and it’s subtle hue to include garden roses, irises, spray roses, clematis, and peonies. Our beautiful paperie suite of Korynne & Company whispers of the lavender theme and also tied together the romantic style with it’s elegant calligraphyand timeless design.
For a fun twist, the couple selected a playful dessert station complete with ice cream, cones, libations and wedding cake from Ruby Jean Patisserie. The display offered guests the option of selecting their own favorite treats. To complete the lavender theme, the wedding cake was covered in pressed dried pansies, a symbol of “loving feelings” and traditionally given to some you hold dear to yourheart.
The final scene is the show stopper! Our beautiful couple is shown in their getaway car, a gorgeous vintage 1958 Jaguar XK150. Painted a classic Cotswold blue and restored to its original beauty, a garland of lush blooms was added to the back sideof the seats to tie in the overall floral design. Our stylish couple looked stunning in this sexy car. It was truly the perfect touchto end a perfect day.”
Impressed, we marvel at the impressions of fine art photographer Hannah Quintana, who has captured the versatile visions of the team in a poetic world of images.

Wedding dream in the baroque Villa Aurelia in Rome
Rome – a historical city full of contrasts and culture. Multifaceted yet unchanged, historical yet modern, metropolis and rural at the same time. Here you will find the magnificent baroque villa Villa Aurelia embedded in a beautiful park. A breathtaking estate, as if made for an unforgettable wedding.
A stunning estate, a beguiling dress, stylish decorations in nude and natural accents and a delightful bride and groom made their wedding day a glamorous celebration. In the soft afternoon light, surrounded by lemon trees, sprawling gardens and amazing views of Rome, guests celebrated on a long tablescape that spanned the entire estate.
Styling and Planning
With great attention to detail and a sense of beauty, wedding planners Natalie and Daniel of HEA wedding & event design created a stunning concept that captivated everyone.
From Natalie and Daniel: “Eat – Pray – Love. The movie title, starring Julia Roberts, fits this wedding perfectly. Roma, a setting with multicultural, breathtaking historical background, mysticism, culture and rich in stories that want to be told. We had the pleasure to accompany the bride and groom Hannah and Paul on this exciting journey. To tell their story, a very personal romance novel with exciting chapters, virtually the couple’s bestseller with a wonderful “happy ending” in Rome.
After visiting the location, the minimalist design elements in nude and natural tones were a perfect fit. Less is more, perfect imperfection paired with Italian flair and a breathtaking view over the cosmopolitan city. A long stunning table should be the highlight and the couple’s dream for their wedding. Keeping with the neutral color palette, we decided to keep the ceremony decor very modern and minimalistic, with handmade silk ribbons from Puglia and white peonies along the aisles. The beautiful Renaissance church of San Pietro in Montorio did the rest.
Dolce far niente meets the Austrian wedding couple, grazie for 2 exciting years of planning.”
How it all began…
From Hannah and Paul: “Most of you already know how we met. We can hardly believe it’s been 3 years. But it’s just as incredible that after only 3 years, we can’t imagine living without each other. As life goes, our first meeting was the result of a series of fateful events: Hannah was friends with a group of medical students at the university, along with Paul’s roommate and longtime friend Max and his girlfriend Sophie. A coincidence without which we probably would never have met.
But it took a couple of years, a kiss at a party, a few dates, and a series of after-the-fact hilarious mishaps to turn the two of us into a couple. From that point on, we were inseparable. And now here we are, asking Max and Sophie, who played such an important role in the beginning of our relationship, to be our groomsmen. And with each passing day, the anticipation grew for our wedding, celebrating with our families and best friends. We are so lucky!”
Hannah and Paul were accompanied by the modern and international photographer couple Danilo & Sharon, who inspire with their artistic approach.Their trained eye for the right moment and their aesthetic approach immerse us in a poetic world of images.
Graceful elegance at the magnificent Villa Arconati
Villa Arconati, dating back to the 15th century, is one of the most beautiful and majestic villas in Italy and is a heritage of great historical, cultural and architectural value. It is located in the small town of Castellazzo di Bollate, just outside Milan. Its numerous theaters and water features were inspired by Leonard da Vinci’s studies.
We experience the romantic love story of Novella Fiore and Vincenzo Juliano as they welcome their guests to their intimate wedding at Villa Arconati. Novella is a graceful and confident woman, Vincenzo is a man of stature and great patience. Their exuberant joy and sweet affection for each other fill the famous halls with their love.
In the magnificent villa there are 25 (many of which have been recently restored. In this unique editorial we can admire the Museum Hall with the statue of Tiberius from the 1st century AD, the Galliari Hall and the Hunt Room.
We contemplate the beauty of the bride who, with her hair artfully pinned up and graceful face, allows her dress by Milla Nova to fully unfold its splendor.
The Catalan country house Masia Egara is located in Terrassa, 25 km north of Barcelona. The early 16th-century property is surrounded by a sprawling garden, and its interiors are filled with beautiful furniture and paintings from different eras, from 16th-century tapestries to modern art.
Creative Director, Event Designer and Deco Stylist Andrea Llàcer was inspired by this picturesque setting to create a charming editorial with artistic touches. Nestled only 300′ above the sparkling blue Pacific ocean lies the lovely Hotel Wailea Relais & Chateaux. Located on the slopes of Haleakala in Wailea on the island of Maui this extraordinary boutique resort boasts not only expansive views but fabulous wedding venues and reception options.
With the stunning images of Stephanie Lynn, today we have the opportunity to travel to this magical location and marvel at a gorgeous editorial. The fantastic team from A White Orchid Wedding impresses us with their attention to detail, sense of beauty and creativity. The arguments are feather light, aesthetic and modern. The visions of a Hawaiian wedding are full of diverse inspirations and captivate the viewer.
From A White Orchid Wedding: “Rated as one of the top 25 “Most Romantic Hotels in the World” by Conde Nast Traveler, we were pleasantly happy to agree! Upon roaming through peaceful 15 acres of zen-inspired landscaping we were tickled to explore their tropical gardens, cascading waterfalls, and secret nooks that comprised our inspiration for this shoot.
What we loved immediately was the exquisite architectural features and textures of the construction of this resort. The combination of lava, river rocks, stone, and natural elements was ideal for our project. It felt as though we were “In a lovely private Frank Lloyd Wright-designed mansion – kids in a candy shop if you will”. The hospitality was impeccable as well.
Our inspiration was to capture a romantic yet formal feeling for our couple with a minimalist vibe. Our ceremony setting was chosen on their lower lanai as we felt not only the architecture of the site was perfection but that the serenity of the bamboo forest and palm tree skyline said “Hawaiian Wedding” in a subtle fashion. Our floral columns with trellises of flowers in warm tones of mustard, cinnamon, and green felt as if they were growing naturally at the altar. We opted for wishbone chairs to surround the altar.
The Anuhea Ballroom with its grandeur of river rock walls and open-air setting provided our dining room setting. While one open-air wall opens up to the exotic gardens, the other opens up to the sound of their plunging waterfall and pond area unlike no other. Truly delightful. Enormous ceilings and hardwood floors are a definite highlight.
It is here we played with the light by adding sheer runners with hints of gold, cream and cinnamon combined with tabletop layering to mimic the ceremony site. Our entry matched the alter area welcoming you to the next chapter of this experience.
What would be the perfect finale? The beach of course! Just minutes away our couple was whisked away to the shores of Makena where they frolicked in the sea for those ‘OMG’ shots…”
With just a breath, we are immersed in another world that unites us with perfectly formed aesthetics and artistic sophistication. We linger to be seduced. Seduced by stylish beauty, by a minimalist setting, by the splendor of floral arrangements and the uniqueness of the overall concept.
Inspired by autumn flowers, this stunning editorial by fine art photographer Geraldine Leblanc channels the vulnerability of fleeting blooms and their spectacular way of creating movement.
