Black and white wedding symphony at the Château de Méridon

Few color schemes are as timeless, modern and emotional as black and white. Close to Paris, nestled in the rolling countryside of Chevreuse, the Château de Méridon provided the perfect backdrop for a stylish wedding shoot that combined classic elegance with modern sophistication. The French castle, only around 35 kilometers from Paris, lent the concept of White Events Signes Isabelle a luxurious lightness and an almost cinematic atmosphere.

A modern wedding concept for a Franco-American couple

The shoot, photographed by Margaux Karanek, told the vision of a modern, sophisticated wedding of a Franco-American couple. The clean color palette of black, white and accents of midnight blue was consistent throughout the design, florals and stationery. An elegant dress code, fine fabrics and graphic details created a contemporary interpretation of classic castle romance.

The atmosphere was reminiscent of an exclusive garden party: stylish, relaxed and yet full of special moments. After the free wedding ceremony, cocktails were served in the castle garden, accompanied by an illustrator who captured the scene live. The celebration then moved on to a seated dinner, where design and enjoyment formed a harmonious whole.

Couture bridal fashion between minimalism and lightness

The bride wore two couture gowns by Jean-Daniel Brami. Before the ceremony, she wore a short, strapless dress that was ideal for a civil wedding and exuded modern elegance. For the grand entrance, she wore a floor-length gown with open shoulders, whose delicate tulle flounces created movement and an exceptionally light silhouette. The bridal fashion perfectly reflected the contrast of clarity and emotionality that characterized the entire shoot.

Black and white floristry and unusual details

The florists at les ames fleurs d’Amandine opted for an expressive composition of black and white flowers. Lush arrangements on columns framed the entrance to the château, while the bridal bouquet elegantly picked up on the color scheme. On the tables, the floral elements were complemented with black grapes, blueberries and blackberries, which were arranged like an organic table runner and added depth to the design.

Black ribbons became a recurring stylistic element: on the stationery, on the champagne glasses, on the wedding cake, on the pillars of the castle entrance, on the bridesmaids’ dresses and even as a decorative detail. Transparent parasols, wrapped in elegant covers with black bows, served as a stylish gift for the guests and protected them from the sun during the ceremony.

Personalized macarons with the couple’s initials were served in elegant boxes as a gift. The table setting consistently reflected the color scheme: transparent plates with a black core, midnight-blue glasses and matching napkins created a luxurious overall look.

Music, ceremony and a festive finale

The free wedding ceremony was accompanied musically by a violin and cello duo. The gentle sounds lent emotional depth to the ceremony and emphasized the intimate mood of the day.

To round off the evening, guests were treated to a two-tier wedding cake from GK Sugarart, decorated with delicate sugar flowers that echoed the floral elements of the table decorations. An elegant black bow made a graphic statement. Next to it, a champagne pyramid formed the glamorous highlight of the celebration and rounded off the wedding shoot in style.
