Delicate garden romance at Château Bouffémont
In the heart of the Montmorency forests, just a stone’s throw from Paris, an extraordinary wedding shoot was staged by AMV Retreats – on the stately estate of Château Bouffémont. The château, surrounded by lush nature and overlooking the Paris International Golf Club, provided a fairytale backdrop for a concept that combined timeless elegance with delicate garden romance and was captured by the photographers The Hulls.
The ceremony took place outdoors, directly in front of the imposing castle façade. The floral arrangements by Les Herbes Folles framed the bride and groom in an artfully designed semi-circle – a floral composition of delicate pastel shades and filigree structures. The lush yet gentle floral design lent the moment a poetic lightness and emphasized the intimate atmosphere. The classic seating with fine cane-back chairs created a deliberate contrast: minimalist but stylish, it gave the floral works of art space to unfold.
The elegantly laid dinner table inside the castle was a particular highlight. In front of the richly decorated walls and under sparkling crystal chandeliers, an exciting interplay was created between historical opulence and a modern interpretation of wedding aesthetics. The detailed decoration reflected the overall concept: understated but full of sophistication – French chic in its finest form. The white wedding cake with light green painted leaf ornaments and ornate delicate pastel flowers from Erzulie Cakes surrounded by floral arrangements matched the look perfectly.
Fashion was also of the highest sophistication. The bride wore three different dresses, each one a statement in its own right. For the ceremony, the choice fell on a dress by Galia Lahav, which wowed with delicate floral appliqués and intricate lace details. This was followed by a gown by Reem Acra for the rest of the day, whose flowing, detachable sleeves added a playful, almost fairytale touch. The finale was a short dress by Eden Luxe Bridal – elegant, playful and perfect for a stylish end to the evening.
The concept, developed with French noblesse and modern romanticism in mind, was reflected in every detail. The architectural neutrality of the castle underlined the subtle color scheme of the decoration, while the hand-picked elements – from the furniture to the floristry – ensured a harmonious overall picture.
