Enchanted Bridal Inspirations

Imposing columns underline the salon´s lavish size whose walls are adorned by valuable stucco. Pompous arms of gold hold slender candles whose flickering flames spit mysteriously. From above a ceiling painting watches over the bride who looks insecure and sorrowful into the future.

Yet she finds security within the splendor of her companions: a shimmering crown and an opulent bouquet. And she finds protection under her floor-length veil covering her pretty face. She seems breakable and lost in the width of the hall. Yet her beauty doesn´t get lost in the shuffle of pomp, it´s flourishing more and more instead.

When we think of Russian weddings we think of feudal decorations, sumptuous dinner parties and glamorous bridal gowns. But that might be all cliché!
