Futura bridal fashion shoot at Villa Odero

Amidst the rolling hills of Oltrepò Pavese, surrounded by vineyards and the tranquil expanse of the Po Valley, the historic Villa Odero became the setting for an extraordinary bridal fashion shoot. Just under an hour from Milan, the estate with its two hectares of manicured gardens and imposing Liberty architecture provided an enchanting backdrop – ideal for an editorial to present the new Futura bridal fashion collection.

At the heart of the concept was the symbol-laden world of tarot cards, which not only served as a source of inspiration for the visual staging, but also as a narrative guideline for the entire visual language. Each motif was staged as a tableau vivant in which the pose, lighting and props conveyed a deeper meaning. The result was a harmonious combination of fashion, mysticism and personality.

The wedding dresses were from the Futura 2026 collection by Le Spose di Andrea, whose avant-garde designs reinterpreted traditional silhouettes. Inspired by the tarot, each dress was designed as an expression of individual identity. Filigree embroidery, Swarovski crystals, details made of Venetian Murano glass and the deliberate mix of materials – such as delicate tulle and heavy jacquard – created exciting contrasts. Particularly striking was the modern, deconstructed corset approach, which broke up classic shapes and gave the dresses an almost sculptural presence.

The natural surroundings were used to play with light and shadow. The photographer Letizia Maccarini from L&V Photography relied exclusively on daylight, which fell through the high windows of the villa or lay softly over the skin and fabrics outside. This naturalness lent the images an almost surreal lightness, while the muted color palette – dominated by cream, ivory and nude – left room for the complex textures and details.

In addition to fashion, the details also played a central role. Carefully curated objects – from antique tarot cards and crystals to symbolically charged accessories – were deliberately integrated into the image composition. They interwove the model with the narrative undertone of the shoot and reinforced the transformative character of the looks. Lush floral arrangements from Dafne Flower Boutique complemented the romantic, playful look.

The combination of couture sophistication, spiritual symbolism and the natural elegance of the location turned the editorial into a modern homage to the complexity of bridal fashion – beyond the usual conventions. Visual identity, craftsmanship and a pinch of mysticism came together at Villa Odero to create a visual cosmos that stylishly celebrated the essence of individuality and change.
