Mediterranean tuscany Romance
This is how Silke Hechler of Weddings by Silke and wedding photographer Diana Frohmüller imagined Mediterranean romance would look like and created a pictorial picture story on Italian love.
Their visually stunning love story starts at Villa Tolomai overlooking Florence. A luscious getting ready with short bridal dresses by couture designer Ophelia Blaimer combining luxury and girly charm in a creative manner.
An impressively old mansion from the 15th century lies embedded in the hills of Fiesole is overlooking olive groves, Florence and its spacious Tuscan landscape.
A path flanked by aspiring cypresses leads us there through shimmering heat and the sensuous love. At the end of it Villa “Il Salviatino” appears like a Fata Morgana inviting us to experience the romance of Italian beauty.
Later the brides dream of true love while they take a walk passing twiggy olive groves and blooming oleander. This is where restrained elegance reveals its lovely secret of seductive transparency and graceful femininity. With their long and floating bridal gowns by Emanuel Hendrik impersonating the melancholy of late summer.
And with nothing but plain flower bouquets made of olive branches and held together by Silk and Willow ribbons in their hands they find Tuscany´s romance.
