Mediterranean wedding inspiration in pink and blue
In the picturesque setting of Castel Bay, a stunning location in Hyères in the south of France, an inspiring wedding shoot took place that combined the elegance of Mediterranean colors with bold accents of pink and bright blue. This extraordinary staging was created as part of a floral workshop aimed at introducing budding florists to the art of wedding floristry. The project was organized by the well-known French florist Emilie Hayotte – known as La blonde et le barbu – and photographer Thomas Audiffren.
The bright blue sky and warm light of the southern French coast created the perfect backdrop for photographer Morgan Amsellem to showcase the intricately designed floral creations. The concept focused on preserving the French “Art de Vivre” in a glamorous yet natural way. The result was an aesthetically sophisticated ensemble that harmoniously underscored the Mediterranean architecture of Castel Bay, yet stood out with intense colors and details.
The wedding dress, a true masterpiece by designer Igilles from Aix-en-Provence, fitted perfectly into the overall picture. The designer had created a model that looked timeless yet boldly modern – perfect for the bride who dares to break new ground. With delicate details and a sophisticated cut, it lent the bride a unique elegance that was particularly effective in the French setting. The handmade stationery design by Encres et nuances also contributed to the individual touch and captivated the guests with its fine selection of colors and materials.
The floral design implemented the color theme with unmistakable sophistication. Emilie Hayotte and her team combined different shades of pink – from soft pink to strong magenta – and brought them together with bright blue, which acted as a calming contrast. The decorations were carefully staged with great attention to detail to match the Mediterranean style of the location. This resulted in artful arrangements that captured the charm and warmth of the south of France while giving the wedding a dynamic and vibrant ambience.
The wedding shoot was not only a source of inspiration for future brides and grooms, but also a tribute to the beauty and colorfulness of nature. The harmony between the natural surroundings and the chosen colors, combined with the high art of floristry and meticulous detail work, gave the entire event a unique and unforgettable atmosphere.
