Provence wedding at the Domane de Lamanon
The Alpilles region in the south of France offers a picturesque backdrop that impresses with its timeless beauty. The Domaine de Lamanon, a Provençal farmhouse dating back to the 15th century, was chosen for this wedding shoot by photographer Charlotte Beaune and wedding planner Florence from Shades Waves. Tucked away at the end of an avenue lined with cypresses and lavender, the magic of this place unfolds. The ceremony took place in the heart of a 120 square meter rose garden, overlooking the charming bastide.
A tribute to style and craftsmanship
Designer Loo Bacch created two breathtaking outfits for the bride in her studio in Provence. The first creation, an elegant satin dress with an overskirt train embroidered with 3D flowers, embodies romance and sophistication. The second outfit, a tailored trouser suit, combines femininity and modernity in a design that impresses with its versatility. With its figure-hugging cut and detachable veil, the suit sets fashionable accents and can also be worn after the wedding – a perfect blend of sustainability and style.
Colors that touch the senses
The decoration of the shoot was all about the harmony between blue and peach. Inspired by the elegance of Jouy patterns, a floral motif was developed that is reflected in the stationery and table runners. The Pantone color 2024, Peach Fuzz, combined with a delicate pastel blue, formed the basis for the floral design. The floral arrangements, created by Laura from L’éternelle Rêveuse, were reminiscent of the opulent scenes from the Bridgerton series. A mixture of roses, tulips, hydrangeas, anthuriums and delphiniums came together to create lush, romantic compositions – from the bridal bouquet to the ceremony and table decorations.
Culinary works of art
The wedding cake, a work of art by Ange Danielle Gimenez, was designed with precise details. The floral pattern and monogram character, designed by Bonjour Paper, set stylish accents. The four-tier cake impressed with its design – two tiers in a pentagon shape and two in a round design – and a color palette that ranged from soft blues to shades of peach.
A vision of inspiration
The idea of placing the wedding table in the cypress avenue provided modern inspiration for future bridal couples. A long, rectangular table invites to a convivial dinner in the open air. With a focus on details such as handmade table runners from Appolonia Linen and pieces of tanzanite and diamond jewelry that perfectly complemented the bride, an overall concept was created that combines elegance and timelessness.
This wedding shoot shows how a blend of traditional charm and modern aesthetics creates an unforgettable atmosphere – ideal for couples who want to celebrate their love in style.
