Romantic pastel wedding on Lake Geneva

Aline and Christian celebrated their wedding in Switzerland, set against the gentle backdrop of Lake Geneva. The couple live in Nyon and wanted an intimate, emotional wedding with a light, spring-like color scheme. Pastel shades, floral details and a palpable closeness between everyone involved characterized this special day.

The wedding ceremony took place in the immediate vicinity of Lac Léman, accompanied by the calm glistening of the water and the first fresh green of spring. The wedding party was deliberately limited to just 60 guests, which created a personal and very warm atmosphere. Many quiet moments, tears of joy and intimate looks defined the day, which photographer Fabian Delétraz captured fabulously.

A wedding concept inspired by spring

The wedding planning was in the hands of Your Authentic Wedding, who worked with the couple to develop a concept that combined romance and naturalness. Delicate pastel colors, soft shapes and an elegant lightness ran through all the details of the day.

The floral design by Asclepiade Art Floral perfectly reflected this mood. Delicate flowers in soft shades of color accompanied the ceremony and also set stylish accents in the decoration without pushing themselves into the foreground.

Special attention was paid to the stationery. Faire Part à Part designed a customized wedding stationery with an engraved illustration of the church where the ceremony took place. This detail gave the wedding a very personal touch and elegantly combined the location and design.

Intimate preparations and loving details

The wedding day began quietly and emotionally. Aline prepared for the day with her bridesmaids, but deliberately took a quiet moment with just her mother to slip into her wedding dress. This intimate scene emphasized the personal depth of the day.

The seating plan was also designed as a welcome sign and decorated with selected flowers that picked up on the wedding design. Here, too, the attention to detail was evident, which ran like a common thread through the entire wedding.

Culinary highlights in a stylish setting

The aperitif took place at the Château de Prangins, a historic venue overlooking Lake Geneva, which lent the wedding a special elegance. For dinner and the celebration, the party moved to the Maison Jemmely, where the evening ended in a relaxed and stylish atmosphere.

The wedding cake from Cupcaker was a real highlight. The four-tiered creation not only impressed with its design, but also with its variety of flavors and the craftsmanship that could be felt in every detail.

A wedding full of emotion and lightness

This spring wedding on Lake Geneva showed how harmoniously pastel colors, personal details and an intimate number of guests can be combined. Aline and Christian celebrated their love with great calm, lots of emotion and a design that reflected their personality – elegant, warm and timeless.
