Enchanting Elopement in Charleston

An imposing mansion bathing in the golden sunlight, a dormant lake in front of it whose long wooden boardwalk tells of pure romance and a young bridal couple getting married in intimate togetherness – that´s how photographer  Carlos Hernandez imagines an enchanting elopement.

And that’s also the story he showcased as a workshop organizer along with event planner Tristan Needham Design to offer his participants a wide selection of exceptional and unique motifs.

Together, they traveled to the southeast of the United States, to South Carolina, to turn the breathtaking mansion of Lowndes Grove Plantation in Charleston into a stunning wedding world.

They styled, draped and arranged everything right down to the last detail so that the beauty and harmony of this fairytale wedding could be captured from every perspective.  In addition to the numerous decorative elements, it was above all the wonderful floral arrangements by Ginny Early of Enemies of the Average, that completed every single image.

The result enthused everyone involved: a symbiosis of history and present combined with a mixture of tradition and modernity, refined with simple elegance and a hint of glamour. That’s what many future brides dreams of…

Of course,  Carlos Hernandez also captured this synthesis of the arts with his own camera and shares with us his impressive pictures today.
