Timelessly elegant wedding in mocha mousse
The trend color of the year 2025
In spring, the light-flooded garden hall of Schloss Dachau was transformed into a stage for a styled shoot that combined classic elegance with modern sensitivity. Under the title “Mocha Mousse”, a harmonious interplay of architecture, light and carefully curated details was created, inspired by earthy color nuances, fine textures and the quiet awakening of nature.
The castle’s garden hall with its white arched windows, clear architecture and view of the adjoining castle garden provided the perfect backdrop for wedding planner Sarah de Witt‘s stylish concept. The natural brightness of the room and the direct access to the greenery created an atmosphere that was warm, open and festive at the same time.
The central element of the shoot was the color scheme – finely coordinated in shades of beige, mocha and mother-of-pearl. These were reflected both in the floristry by PD Flowers and in the detailed stationery by Judith Fackler. The bridal bouquet was airy and modern – with a gentle gradient from cappuccino to mocha and delicate ivory tones. The table arrangements picked up on these colors, complemented by reddish-orange accents and asymmetrical arrangements that brought movement and depth to the overall picture.
The stationery presented itself as a small work of art in its own right: hand-drawn castle illustrations, fine handmade paper, envelopes in the Pantone color “Mocha Mousse” and delicate velvet ribbons formed a series that met the highest standards in terms of both style and craftsmanship. Every detail was seamlessly integrated into the overall concept – elegant, individual and with a fine sense of aesthetics.
The bride wore an elegant corset dress from Brautflüsterin, made from high-quality Mikado fabric. The clean silhouette is romantically complemented by a beaded skirt. Particularly noteworthy was the modern corset style, in which the bodice tapers to a point at the base of the skirt – a sophisticated detail that emphasized the waist and gave the look a modern touch. Long, transparent gloves with fine pearl embroidery rounded off the styling and added a touch of couture romance to the look. The groom chose a classic look – stylish, understated and in perfect harmony with the overall look.
The table decorations showed how classic beauty can be rethought: Curved tables were staged with finely draped satin fabrics, the new tableware series and the silver and mother-of-pearl “Pearl” cutlery. Silver chandeliers, carefully placed candles and the iconic black Thonet chair set deliberate accents. The combination of satin tablecloths, porcelain, candlelight and warm mocha tones created a festive yet understated atmosphere – elegant, inviting and with a modern twist.
After the ceremony, the bride and groom found a quiet moment for two in the castle gardens. Between blooming magnolias and the lush green of the historic grounds, the couple walked hand in hand through the paths – carried by the quiet magic of the day. This moment, captured by photographers Hey Lovely Photography and Mariusz Graban, once again underlined the heart of the concept: an aesthetic that doesn’t have to be loud to make an impact.
“Mocha Mousse” does not stand for the fashionable pursuit of novelty, but for deliberate restraint, for the finer details. A homage to classic shapes – interpreted in a modern way and set in a timeless light.
