Unconventional wedding, an intimate wedding in Brittany with tennis and billiards

In Brittany, on the extensive grounds of Domaine Le Mezo, this elopement began with a quiet, almost cinematic scene. The groom approached the property on a bicycle, his basket adorned with delicate flowers, a charming image that defined the character of this extraordinary day.

The bride watched his arrival from one of the high windows of the house. A moment full of calm and expectation before the two met a little later at the entrance. There, framed by lush greenery and delicate flowers in creamy white, pale pink and lilac, their first moment together came about, unagitated, gentle and carried by a natural lightness.

A table design full of fabric, shape and still life

For the design concept, Univers Célestine opted for an aesthetic of lightness, texture and soft shapes.
The eye-catcher was a semi-circular table over which a voluminous white tablecloth fell. It was gathered in a modern way and the ends were tied into large bows, giving the setting a soft, sculptural effect.

The floral compositions from Nuances Florales combined strong green with delicate accents in white, light pink and purple. Dark grapes complemented the arrangements and brought depth and subtle tension to the overall picture, a modern, poetic interpretation of nature that is particularly well suited to a wedding for two.

Fashion for freedom and movement

The bride wore a short, off-the-shoulder dress from La Petite Main, whose structured top and bubble skirt offered a combination of clarity and playfulness.
The groom chose a modern suit from Father & Sons, which blended seamlessly with the subtle, understated styling.

Tennis, billiards and the courage to celebrate differently

This wedding for two deliberately showed moments that went beyond traditional ideas. After their first look, the couple played tennis – in full wedding attire. The scene, animated by energy and spontaneity, showed how free a wedding day can be when it is not designed according to expectations, but according to joy.

Later, they switched to a game of pool inside the property. The subdued lighting and warm atmosphere of the rooms formed a soft contrast to the freshness of the outdoor shots and lent the narrative a calm, personal tone.

A celebration that finds its own rhythm

Coordinated by Marchesi Weddings and captured by Thomas Raboteur and Djamel Rialland, the result is a story that encourages couples to consciously design their day in a way that suits them.

Whether it’s tennis, billiards, a walk or a quiet moment for two – this elopement in Brittany shows that a small, personal wedding can be just as meaningful as a big celebration. The important thing is that it remains authentic.
