Wedding in Athens in cream & white

For this modern and stylish wedding, the couple with wedding planner Vicky Galata Weddings & Events chose white, elegant flowers combined with earthy tones of soft brown, beige and cream. From the invitations to the table decorations to the flowers, the color tones remained the same and ensured a harmonious result. The vision was for the guests to feel the Greek aura by the sea, so the dinner was held outside on the Athens Island Riviera. The full moon and the breathtaking view of the sea were fantastic and the ambience unique.

To create a modern and stylish design, florist Jim Labraco chose a variety of flowers in white. Combined with earthy, soft brown tones, both in the flowers and the branches, a special composition was created. White ceramic vases added a modern touch. Golden details as a base for the white candles, which burned all night, completed the design. The mirror on the table completed the clear and modern effect, reflecting the entire surroundings and the flower arrangement. Finished with White lilac – art de la table, the table setting looked invitingly festive with white tableware, gold-rimmed glass plates and gold cutlery.

The bride’s wedding dress by Pronovias was tightly cut and clung to the bride’s beautiful body. The details on the bodice formed a bow that made it unique. The dress was combined with a veil and elbow-length gloves by Vera Wang to create an elegant look. Her shoes from Aquazzura went perfectly with this outfit. Photographers Vesi & Yiannis Simopoulos used the modern theme to find minimalist backgrounds for the couple’s photos, too, to perfectly showcase the couple.

Dinner was a sophisticated 3-course menu created by Dipnosofistirion. The Mediterranean flavors have been selected to offer guests a Greek experience they will never forget. The signature cocktails were based on gin, the couple’s favorite drink, and they always wanted to try out new flavors based on this beverage.

The wedding cake was created in a simple white, modern design and decorated with white orchids. And in the evening, as is traditional in Greece, there was of course a lot of dancing.
