Wedding magic in Normandy

The Château de Courtomer in Normandy is one of those places that you enter and immediately sense that stories are being created here. Surrounded by rolling fields, rural tranquillity and timeless French elegance, it offers couples a retreat full of intimacy and style. Its proximity to Paris makes it an exceptional location for destination weddings that combine naturalness and exclusivity.

A concept full of lightness and fine details

For this editorial, a vision was created that focuses on the natural beauty of the property. Organic materials, soft textures and a calm color palette combined to create a style that is deliberately unagitated and authentic. The aged walls and the soft light of the château lend every detail a special depth.

Wedding planner Sofia’s Weddings and Events implemented the concept in a design that combines elegance and down-to-earthness – perfect for intimate celebrations in France.

The floral compositions by Fleurs et Pépins created an atmosphere full of lightness. Pastel tones, delicate blooms and natural movement picked up on the château’s delicate architecture and created a harmonious flow throughout the wedding inspiration.

Two couture looks full of personality

The bridal fashion came from Phoebe Crosby Design and impressively reflected how versatile modern bridal couture can be.

The Rosa Maxi was used for the ceremony – a chantilly lace dress with a filigree corset back and detailed appliqué, complemented by an overskirt that gave the look extra depth.

A completely new expression was created for the reception: a structured English Bloom corset with a square neckline and a voluminous bubble skirt. Modern, self-confident and yet romantic – two styles that complemented each other surprisingly harmoniously.

Loving accents and artistic elements

Hand-embroidered napkins, a personalized bouquet ribbon and handmade designer jewelry added special touches. A live painter accompanied the editorial and captured the mood in front of the château in a painting – a timeless detail that more and more couples are choosing for their wedding.

Loulou Event Design created the stationery and selected decorative elements using natural materials and fine textures. The wedding cake by Cré-AnneC complemented the overall picture with delicate, artistic details.

The château’s orangery was chosen for the ceremony and dinner. Soft lighting, rustic stone walls and the elegant table design combined to create an atmospheric ambience that is warm, romantic and timeless. A place that radiates intimacy and yet offers space for great emotions.

The photography by Frances Mary Sales lent the editorial its delicate, poetic visual language. The combination of natural light, pastel colors and quiet moments enhanced the romantic character and made the special atmosphere of the château immediately tangible.
