Symphony of Contrasts

Where millions of years ago natural forces ran rampant, there is only stillness and solitude enveloping the bride today. In gleaming white, the salt lake lies before her. In her black dress she floats across it, almost without touching it. Just the odd gust of wind accompanies her on her journey and cannot help but ask her delicate tulle for a dance.

The dark material, her light skin and a bouquet of freshly picked flowers unite to create a perfect picture. A masterpiece of light and shadow, a symphony of contrasts where the quest for love and happiness takes centre stage in this hostile atmosphere.

Convinced that her quest will soon be rewarded with success, a simple table set for two awaits the bride and groom in the middle of this isolated place.White blossoms, dark berries and glittering salt add to the harmonious melody.

Whether or not a bridal couple will one day unite in love at this table, delight in the scent of the flowers or sink into undisturbed togetherness remains concealed from our eyes.What we do see is the artful mise-en-scene of a captivating love story by Amber Reverie, expressed to the fullest in minimalism, or the spectacular way in which this story was so tangibly captured by Joey Kennedy using texture, colour and movement.
