Wedding Romance in the High Tatras

Set amid the breathtaking mountain scenery of the High Tatras in Slovakia, Andrea and Miroslav celebrated their wedding at the luxurious Grand Hotel Kempinski. It was a celebration that blended modern floral artistry, timeless romance, and personal touches. The majestic natural surroundings and the stylish ambiance of the five-star hotel provided the backdrop for an unforgettable wedding day.

A love story that began at the gym

Andrea and Miroslav live in Bratislava and have shared a passion for sports for many years. They met at a gym that Miroslav ran himself at the time. Andrea started working out there, but it took more than nine months before the two of them finally went to the movies together. That first date turned into a love story that has kept them together for eight years now.

For their wedding, they chose the Grand Hotel Kempinski High Tatras, one of the most exclusive hotels in Slovakia. Surrounded by mountains and an extraordinary natural landscape, the hotel provided a special setting for their celebration.

Modern floral art and sophisticated details

The wedding design was created and executed by Holubica. The design was inspired by the season, the hotel’s architecture, and the couple’s personal style.

Lush white hydrangeas and chrysanthemums contrasted with the intense blue of noble thistles and the warm cappuccino tones of exquisite Cymbidium orchids. This unusual combination gave the floral arrangements a special depth and a modern character.

The Cymbidium orchids, arranged on delicate wire structures, were a real eye-catcher. The flowers, which appeared to be almost floating, created an intriguing contrast to the classic, voluminous blooms and lent the decoration an artistic lightness.

A bridal look full of personality

Andrea chose a wedding dress by Eva Lendel that she found at Wedding Avenue in Bratislava. The form-fitting lace dress accentuated her figure and combined feminine romance with a contemporary design.

She paired them with shoes by Jimmy Choo and jewelry by Dior. It was a carefully curated selection that reflected her personal style and completed her bridal look.

A Wedding Amid Mountains, Music, and Emotions

After a welcome drink to kick things off, the civil wedding ceremony began, during which Andrea and Miroslav exchanged vows in front of their guests. Afterward, everyone raised a glass at a cocktail reception and took the opportunity to take some group photos to commemorate the occasion.

The festive dinner welcomed guests into the hotel’s stylishly decorated setting. The first dance finally kicked off the lively part of the evening. A live band provided music and a lively atmosphere, while the cutting of the wedding cake was another highlight.
