Olivia and Marc´s Fine Art Wedding
A bit classic but very modern, a bit traditional but very unconventional, a bit glamorous but very romantic – that’s how we feel about Olivia and Marc´s fine art wedding, as we experience it on the great pictures of wedding photographer Karen Kadner.
The wedding was supposed to be honest, authentic and personal. Reflect the bridal couple both as individuals and as a unit. And bring the naturalness and lightness into the foreground, without neglecting perfection and aesthetics. This vision required a very special team of wedding vendors…
Firm member of this team was fine art photographer Karen Kadner, who was delighted by Olivia and Marc from the first moment they met. She told us: “Even the preparation time was like a dream, because Olivia and Marc are enchanting people, who set great value to quality, minimalism, fine art and elegance.”
And yet, the well-rehearsed couple had specific wishes, what their special day should be all about: “At the time of the engagement, we were already a couple for 10 years. We have already mastered many small and large projects together and were therefore particularly looking forward to the project wedding, which we could design completely according to our wishes. It was clear to us from the beginning that it should not be a “pink dream”, but a styling that reflects both of us with feminine and masculine elements. We love minimalism, with no frills and reduced to the essentials.”
The perfect location for her concept was soon found: “When choosing the wedding location, it quickly became clear to us that it should be a location in the industrial look that we found with the Stanzerei in Baden, Switzerland. The raw, urban setting offered the ideal contrast to the fine art decoration. For the wedding we chose the garden hall of the listed, neo-Gothic Villa Boveri, which was once built for industrialist Walter Boveri. The surrounding park makes this place a wonderful small oasis in the midst of the industrial city of Baden.”
But a location alone does not make a wedding yet. Fortunately, there were still numerous, dedicated helpers who made dreamlike visions become dreamlike reality. “Because of the fact that we had very clear and specific ideas and attached great value to aesthetics and quality, we knew we had to choose vendors who shared our ideas. The Fine Art Styling and Floral Design by Tabea Maria Lisa and the high quality stationery by My.Love. Designs complemented each other perfectly and the result was more beautiful than we ever imagined.” Olivia and Marc remember.
Luckily photographer Karen Kadner captured how exactly their wedding day looked like and invites us to browse her beautiful gallery.
