Timeless elegance in Florence and Tuscany
On a sunny April day, Florence, the city of art and romance, served as the first backdrop for a dreamy wedding shoot. The focus was on a lush, pastel-colored dress in soft apricot from Millia London, which enchanted the senses.
The second day of the shoot took place at the majestic Castello di Montegufoni. This magnificent 13th century castle rises above the picturesque Tuscan countryside, offering panoramic views that bring back the spirit of centuries past. Renaissance artists were inspired by these rolling hills, the striking cypress trees and the charming farmhouses – a backdrop made to capture the magic and charm of a wedding.
The atmosphere of the Castello Montegufoni with its historic walls and magnificent frescoes in the Galleria apartment lent a special depth to the shoot. These breathtaking murals by Pucci enveloped the scene in a flair that combines both history and art. It was here, in this opulent setting, that VEO Media ‘s wedding images were captured, celebrating the understated elegance and timeless beauty with pearl jewelry by bel Fiore in perfect harmony with Tuscany.
The wedding dress, a creation by Irina La Ruder Couture, combined feminine modernity with romantic lightness. Irina, who has opened her own bridal fashion business, White Dress Gallery, is known for her detailed craftsmanship and ability to create garments that embody timeless elegance. This particular dress, richly embellished with pearls and hand-embroidered flowers, created an ethereal effect that made the bride feel like she was gliding through a dream.
The table decorations in the Galleria apartment were another highlight. Designed by Kerstin from Florales & Geschriebenes, it reflected the splendor of the Castello and brought a soft, airy elegance to the setting. The floral creations, in subtly coordinated colors and complemented by delicate silk ribbons, blended with the architecture of the castle and added a romantic touch to the setting. Kerstin created floral works of art from the finest flowers, which gave the entire concept a lively yet graceful aura.
In the planning phase for this editorial, the focus was on the vision of a harmonious combination of pearl jewelry and Tuscan beauty. The idea of a pre-wedding shoot in Florence, followed by a dreamy setting at Castello Montegufoni, was to create the perfect blend of romance and fairytale. An elegant tea time on the terrace of the Castello and the opportunity to exchange vows in the lush garden completed the backdrop, which resembled a painting. These timeless surroundings, steeped in the charm of Tuscany, created the perfect setting for a love story told in pictures.
