Golden Vintage Fairytale Wedding

In the middle of the gentle landscape of the Westensee Nature Park, surrounded by old trees, a tranquil lake and the historic architecture of Gut Emkendorf, a wedding inspiration was created that put German fairytale traditions in a new, modern light. The location, with its baroque elegance and classicist clarity, provided the perfect backdrop for an editorial that combined romance, craftsmanship and artistic sophistication.

The concept was driven by the idea of telling a fairy tale that is not nostalgic, but timeless – sensitive, powerful and visually expressive. This vision was developed by 24 Seasons of Flowers, who were responsible for both the overall creative concept and the floral design. With Elamo Weddings at their side, the idea became a coherent production with a deep understanding of aesthetics, harmony and attention to detail.

The wedding dresses, specially designed for the shoot by White Cherry, paid homage to modern romance. Flowing silhouettes, high-quality satin and finely crafted details such as beaded back necklines and chiffon shawls emphasized the individual elegance of each bride. The four different looks embodied a new form of restraint – feminine, stylish and full of character.

With floral arrangements in fine art style, inspired by the architecture of the estate, a floral arc of tension was created between soft shapes and clear structures. The color palette of golden yellow, cream, peach, salmon and white lent the setting a warm, lively lightness. The floral fireplace installation was particularly eye-catching – an arrangement that not only decorated, but also told a story.

The picture was complemented by lovingly selected decorative elements. Vintage Stories provided characteristic Thonet chairs and fine vintage tableware. Each piece looked like a fragment of a memory from the past – carefully placed to create new stories. The combination of textures, shapes and materials created a sensual experience between nostalgia and modernity.

Sarah Prahm was responsible for the photographic realization. Her shots captured the light and mood with a calm, almost painterly sensibility. With a trained eye for composition, emotion and fine details, she created images that quietly tell stories – poetic, authentic and deeply moving. Adrian Lucas continued the concept in moving images, translating the visual fairy tale into a cinematic language that unfolds gently and fluidly.

Soft make-up looks and natural styling, coordinated by Makeuparti.st, emphasized the lightness of the overall look. Accessories by Jeonga Choi added subtle, intellectual nuances, while handmade shoes by Pink Blueberry elegantly rounded off the looks.

With delicate colors, texture and a poetic design, Florabelle ‘s stationery also blended seamlessly into the visual concept. The wedding cake, created by Vanillerie, featured delicate floral decorations and was an artistic finish to the setting, both in terms of taste and appearance.

This shoot combined past and present in the historic manor house, a subtle fairytale-like story about love and artistic collaboration in golden vintage style.
