Timeless white wedding on the Côte d’Azur
A gleaming white wedding editorial was created in Hyères on the French Mediterranean coast, combining modern elegance with the quiet poetry of the south. The light-flooded backdrop of Domaine Castel Bay provided the perfect setting for a concept that deliberately focused on reduction, clarity and a sculptural design language.
The shoot was staged and planned by Jeremie HKB and Marion Pinel, who together with Agence Fairy Tale developed a visual story that fused French elegance, contemporary design and Mediterranean lightness. The editorial was photographed by Julie Chef, whose keen sense of light and composition impressively captured the atmosphere of the south.
A wedding ceremony like a sculptural installation
The free wedding ceremony took place on one of the central garden terraces with a view of the sea. Two large white floor bouquets marked the ceremony area. Behind them rose organically curved fabric elements, reminiscent of oversized petals or wings. The installation was deliberately asymmetrical, projecting well beyond the silhouette of the groom and looking like an artistic sculpture in motion.
Several smaller and larger fabric structures combined to form a flowing shape that absorbed light and shadow and gave the wedding ceremony an almost floating effect. The bright white architecture of the location reinforced this impression and made the setting appear calm and powerful at the same time.
Floral design in white without compromise
The floral design was created by Celine Braun and followed a consistent monochrome approach. The bridal bouquet consisted of white roses, hydrangeas, callas and orchids and emphasized the consistently monochrome design. On the tables, the floral concept was complemented by other white summer flowers, occasionally interspersed with delicate greenery, such as fine blades of grass, which lent the arrangement a subtle lightness.
The curved table as a central design element
Another highlight of the shoot was the organically curved table in the garden. Several gentle S-lines stretched across the lawn directly in front of the house. The table was completely white, with flowing draped table linen, white candles and floral arrangements.
The staging of the flowers and candles, which cascaded down from the table to the floor like a waterfall, was particularly impressive. Crockery, glasses and cutlery were deliberately minimalist in white and glass, complemented by transparent chairs that further emphasized the lightness of the concept.
Modern bridal fashion with a clear line
The wedding dress made a strong fashion statement. The wedding dress came from the fashion house I Gilles and was created by designer Alberto Palatchi. Flowing fabric, clean lines and striking modern puffed sleeves gave the design a contemporary, elegant presence.
The cut was deliberately purist. An oval neckline without a décolleté, a striking leg slit at the front and an extended train made from the same fabric created an elegant, contemporary silhouette. There was no lace or tulle at all, which emphasized the calm and strength of the design even more.
The bride wore her hair in a simple plait, minimalist and elegant, perfectly coordinated with the minimalist styling.
Editorial Details between art and lightness
A white background with large-format paper flowers was also set up for the photo shoot. This installation picked up on the floral design language of the concept again and gave the photos a clear editorial character.
The stationery and carefully selected accessories also blended harmoniously into the overall look. Fine materials, light tones and a restrained design supported the calm, modern aesthetic of the shoot.
White wedding cake as a sculptural finale
The wedding cake continued the theme in an artistic way. Completely white, it featured a three-dimensional motif reminiscent of a waterfall or organic flames. The structure seemed to move from bottom to top and reflected the flowing shapes of the decorations and fabric installations.
French elegance by the sea
This White Seaside Wedding editorial told a luminous, poetic story of modern elegance, Mediterranean tranquility and timeless clarity. The combination of architecture, floral art, sculptural staging and modern bridal fashion made this shoot an inspiration for couples wanting a white seaside wedding with a modern, elegant aesthetic.
