Wabi-Sabi – THE AESTHETIC OF AN IMPERFECT BRIDE
As different as this world´s cultures are their definitions of a bride´s beauty.
While some seek timelessness and flawlessness others bloom with imperfection and fugaciousness.
Lovingly arranged yet fading. Man-made yet natural. Thoroughly planned yet incomplete…
„“Wabi-sabi” is a Japanese term representing an aesthetics centered on the acceptance of transience and imperfection. A beauty that is imperfect, impermanent, and incomplete.“ photographer Chymo Meng of CHYMO & MORE Photography clears up her meaningful source of inspiration.
Despite this theme the team seemed to strive for perfection when you look at the abstract, Asian looking letters by The The Little North Sea Studio or when you allow the entire styling and design by Susanne of Redwhitebluepink to take us to another world.
Also the perfect seeming robes by Unielle Couture combined with head pieces by SIBO Design presage imperfection only at second sight.
We´re so excited by the result of capturing “wabi-sabi” on impressive pictures and invite you to come with us to the Landgoed Clingendael where CHYMO & MORE Photography made her visions come true…
