Intimate wedding at the Schlosshotel Berlin
In September, the Schlosshotel Berlin showed its particularly atmospheric side. The decision to deliberately move the entire wedding day indoors created a calm, elegant atmosphere that fully emphasized the character of the hotel.
The Getting Ready was in one of the individually designed rooms of the castle hotel, interpreted in a modern way and decorated in blue and white tones. This is where the bride prepared for her big moment. Her off-the-shoulder dress made of fine lace emphasized the timeless elegance of the setting and blended harmoniously into the aesthetics of the hotel.
The free wedding ceremony was celebrated in the Champagne Lounge, a room that impresses with its wood and gold-paneled walls, a striking chandelier and the combination of historical elements with modern art. It is precisely this mixture that gives the castle its special identity and at the same time allows a subtle proximity to the world of fashion to be felt.
Afterwards, the guests gathered in the vestibule for the reception. Bar tables and a photo box created an informal atmosphere for conversations and first moments together. The celebration was held in a small circle, with the closest family and best friends, which gave the day a personal and intimate touch.
The dinner took place in the stylish music room. A large-format, delicately gold-framed painting and the fireplace with mirror defined the room and were finely complemented by the floral design. The decoration remained deliberately restrained and elegant. White chairs, tables set entirely in white and long, delicate candles formed the basis. Floral arrangements in white and green were complemented by pastel shades of peach and orange, bringing a gentle warmth to the overall picture.
The wedding cake in the afternoon featured a special detail. Pale blue, embellished with golden lace motifs and fine white petals, it echoed the lace of the wedding dress, subtly combining fashion and design.
Through the large semi-circular windows of the music room, the view fell directly into the garden of the castle. There, in the afternoon, calm and natural couple portraits were taken in the soft light of fall. These moments were captured by Miriam Kaulbach, who captured the special atmosphere of this day with a fine sense of light and detail.
