Dreamy English countryside wedding inspiration

Today we take you to the romantic ambience of an English garden. Always Andri  inspires with a stylish concept that offers many lovingly designed details for a summer wedding. The arguments are feathery, aesthetic and inspiring.

Kernwell Photography captured the editorial shoot in their distinctive fine art style. They used both analogue film and digital photography to create a sun-drenched, emotive look which evoke a sense of time and place. Jay Anderson captured the feel and mood perfectly in a modern, raw video.

From Always Andri : “The golden glow of the evening sun on a perfect summer’s day. A gentle breeze sweeping through a meadow of tall grass and wildflowers. Mature trees casting shimmering shadows on the dinner table set beneath it. This romantic, easy-going mood inspired us to create an editorial shoot imagining an intimate garden wedding in the English countryside.

We dreamed up a stylish, modern concept featuring a couple having an uncomplicated celebration surrounded by lush greenery and florals. Newbarn Farm, a historic family farm with gorgeous orchards, gardens and vineyard in Buckinghamshire near London, provided the perfect venue to bring this vision to life.

The bride wore a classic 1930s-inspired cut silk satin dress with tulle overlay and floral 3D applique, designed by Kate Edmondson. It was complemented with the ‘Gysophilia Crown’ by Clare Lloyd, a delicate statement floral headdress that is both romantic and contemporary. Her shoes, the ‘Mirella Floral Heels’ by Dianne Hassell, continued the floral motif.

The floral design by Boom Blooms created an organic and hyperlocal look, incorporating florals from the grounds of Newbarn Farm. Two asymmetrical columns formed a captivating ceremony backdrop. To compliment the spectrum of peachy, salmony tones of the sublime focal flower, the coral sunset peony, the team used weigela florida variegata foliage from the garden. The two-toned bright green and white leaves and little bell-like blooms provided the perfect canvas for the floral palette of the peonies, and the majolica spray and peach avalanche roses. For the final flourish, they foraged ammi from the grounds which then brought in a gentle, ethereal aesthetic to the arrangements.

Simple elegance was the guiding motif of the outdoor table setup. Pink and white linens created a beautiful contrast not only with the floral centerpieces, but also with the brass cutlery and details on glassware and Howie & Ice’s contemporary floral bloom stationery set.

Kate from Dolce Lusso Cakes created a luxurious tiered dessert table. Inspired by the flavours an of Italian summer holiday, it featured fruity raspberry meringue kisses, mini prosecco cupcakes topped with rice paper sails, limoncello amaretti and craquelin choux buns filled with vanilla bean crème pâtissière and topped with edible coral. The showstopper to the set up was the ivory and blush cake, topped with textured rice paper leaves on an acrylic base to give it the illusion of floating.”
