Eva Poleschinski couture show in the city parish church Hartberg

The wedding fair in Hartberg Castle is just around the corner. From September 20 to 22, the Hartberg region is under the sign of saying yes. The highlight will be the spectacular show of the successful fashion designer Eva Poleschinski, who will present her breathtaking new collection in the beautiful ambience of the Stadtpfarrkirche Hartberg.
We were allowed to ask Eva some questions about the upcoming event:

Dear Eva, from September 20 to 22, the Wedding Fair 2019 will take place at Hartberg Castle. Your couture show in the city parish church will again be a unique highlight of this fair. Can you tell us a few details about what visitors can expect?

Let yourself be surprised – that much is said. Different themes of my this year’s collection will be presented in a very inspired way. My collection this year will take visitors into a visually unique world. It will be a Northern Lights inspired, multivisual show, for which I have found special partners in Jürgen Erbler & Hermine Pack.

A very special highlight for me will be Maria Santner, choreographer of the Vienna Opera Ball opening 2019. She will present the opera ball gown in Hartberg.

We are also already very excited about your new collection! I assume it will again include many spectacular details. Care to tell us a bit about your new designs?

In terms of color, I have been inspired by the seasons. Of course, lush embroidery plays a major role again – this year, in contrast to previous years, increasingly with octuplets. No Eva Poleschinski collection exists without flowers, draping and the contrast of reduced elements meeting opulence. In my designs women should feel like princesses, be it the “cool” or the “romantic-playful” princess.

As a native of Hartberg, the region is very close to your heart. To what extent does Hartbergerland inspire you for your designs?

For me, Hartbergerland stands for nature and originality. I like to draw on these themes in my designs, because even a princess wedding look needs a grounded spirit. I spend a lot of time in Styria. Especially my home region is one to switch off, enjoy, drift. I like the Styrian coziness, the partly still untouched nature.

You are now very successful internationally, but it is still important for you to be present in your home country. What makes Eastern Styria so special for you?

What I love here, especially with this show, which is taking place for the 2nd time this year, that I can help shape the development of the region.

I can tell my own story within the show here, as I can hardly anywhere else. I am especially happy that longtime cooperation partners like A Twist of Lemon, Bundy & Bundy and Sandra Pichler are supporting me again for this project. Already the show last year has shown that dear people from near & far come to Hartberg, to whom I can thereby bring my home closer.

What does Eva Poleschinski do when she’s not working on her fashion?

Traveling and looking for new inspirations, passionate about photography and spending time with my friends and family.

Here we show you some more impressions of the couture show of Eva Poleschinski from last year:
