Exotic Elopement in Taiwan

This exotic elopement in Taiwan that wedding photographer Maricle Kang brought to us today makes a modern, innovative and somehow meditative Impression on us.

And even a strong, Western influence can not be irgnored. Which is hardly surprising when we consider that the young couple Claire and Mark, despite their Japanese roots, moved their center of life to the west coast of America.

Maricle Kang Photo told us more about this intimate wedding and its deeper meaning:„Claire & Mark wanted an intimate, elegant yet relaxed elopement to celebrate their love. They met in art school in San Francisco but are both from Taipei, Taiwan. There is no other place like home to have the celebration, and the breathtaking Mt. Yangming in Taipei provided just that. They were deeply inspired by this quote: “The best view comes after the hardest climb.” They think this is a perfect metaphor for their relationship.“

And as luck would have it, there was also an wonderful art museum that seemed to be waiting to serve as an impressive backdrop for the couple’s shoot of the two art lovers. „Both Claire and Mark have a deep love for art, so it totally made sense that we moved our shoot to the stunning art museum, Garden 91, on Mt. Yangming.“ Maricle told us.

For an even more casual and modern look, Claire later changed her outfit.„Claire changed to a bridal pant suit that gave the shoot a sophisticated and modern feel, accompanying with a classic yet contemporary bouquet designed by Cat Nip Flowers.“

Here Maricle Kang has put together the most beautiful pictures of this special wedding for us and invites us to take a look at her wonderful gallery.
