Lilac fragrance as a wedding perfume

This inspiration around the scent of lilacs was created in the summer of 2023 at the Château de Pourtalès in Strasbourg, France. It shows a wedding shoot with three trends for weddings: live soprano Viktorya Soprano sang at the reception, live illustrator Stéphanie Mary Art drew the couple and a lilac-scented perfume created especially for the shoot was to be the central element.

In keeping with this, the wedding design was conceived around the color purple, which went perfectly with the gilding of the historic rooms of the Château de Pourtalès to create an elegant and refined atmosphere. The decoration of the table, the purple dress, the light blue suit of the groom, everything played with the colors of the lilac.

The perfume was created by Dorothée from Atelier d’O Parfum for the bride and left an elegant and impressive impression. In a smaller format, it was the ideal personalized gift for the guests. The perfume was staged during the bride’s getting ready by photographer Tom from Tom Picture.

The table for dinner was generously laid with lots of small flower bouquets and candles. Wedding planner Emmanuelle Lorentz and florist Sabine from Cérémonie Story chose white and gold tableware, vases and candles in glass with gold. Everything fitted in harmoniously with the beautiful château and the colors of the pink, cream and lilac flowers.

Other highlights included cocktails for the couple from Lillet and a wedding cake. The white cake from Les délices de Julie was served outside. Beautifully framed with a flower arch and white lanterns, she made her grand entrance.

In addition to the wedding photos, the perfume and the illustrator’s paintings are a beautiful reminder of the special day.
