Piero Fornasetti inspired Engagement Shoot

From the beautiful couple to the dinner table, the paper goods and the wedding cake – we´re about to discover true love in black and white.

A bouquet of flowers seems the only colorful detail, mingling with the elegance of valuable gold and sparkling crystals.

Beside the young lovers another highlight of this day is the exceptionally set table, where true art finds its destiny…

„Our engagement photo shoot concept was inspired by the incredible work of Italian artist and designer, Piero Fornasetti.“ photographer Anna Grinets revealed. „Famous for his artistic series inspired by “the many faces of a woman”, his iconic images appear over 200 styles of ceramic plates alone in the collection, and these beautiful plates were the starting point for our photo shoot theme.“

At the breathtaking The Doctor’s House in Kleinburg, Ontario, Canada, event designer Cynthia Martyn Fine Events realized the team´s visions and created a dignified frame for those round pieces of art with elaborately calligraphed paper goods by Linea Carta.

„We wanted to create a dinner setting that would celebrate our design-oriented couple’s love of Fornasetti’s work, but would still feel warm and rustic, to suit the atmosphere of the venue.“

Another highlight was the stunning wedding cake lovingly handmade by Cake Opera Co especially for this styled shoot.
