Pink and red in a French church

In a picturesque little town in the heart of France, surrounded by rolling hills and the banks of the Marne, this wedding shoot took place in pink and red, combining the magic of times gone by with modern elegance. Châtillon-sur-Marne, famous for its old church, which has served many different purposes over the centuries, provided the perfect backdrop.

The centerpiece of this wedding inspiration was the stylish wedding dress, which was custom made by talented local designer Sophie Jeandot. With a clever mix of tradition and modernity, the dress was given a touch of elegance, which was perfected with a cape and rhinestone details. It was a tribute to the craftsmanship and creative vision of local talent.

The groom wore a pink suit with vest and bow tie from Blandin & Delloye and announced the color theme.

The old walls of the church were brought to life with lovingly selected decorations in shades of pink and red. Golden accents adorned the tables and perfectly complemented the bright pink and red color palette. This contrast between the stony coolness of the church and the warm, inviting atmosphere of the decorations created an aura of romance and sophistication.

The overall concept of the wedding shoot by photographer Aurore Bridges and wedding planner Amélie Thirion was an interplay of modernity and warmth in the middle of the old stone church. Bold colors blended harmoniously with softer tones in Marie Babin‘s floral creations, creating a balance between cheerful vibrancy and elegance. The gold details such as cutlery and candlesticks added an extra dimension and created a feeling of luxury and opulence.

The simple white wedding cake by Shalyn Orange shone against the lavish floral decorations. And at the end there was a couple shoot in front of the church and under the beautiful avenue of trees.
