Poetic bridal inspiration

In the small mountains of Monédières, a picturesque area in France near the town of Chaumeil, a unique wedding shoot took place that impressed with its natural beauty and an unexpected animal companion.

The photographer Clémence Aresu, inspired by the wild landscapes of this region, reminiscent of the Scottish Highlands, created a soft and poetic image of a bride walking barefoot through nature. The heather and ferns that cover these mountains, as well as the local sheep and wild blueberries, formed the backdrop for this magical shoot.

The bride wore a romantic light blue dress that swayed gently in the wind. The wild bridal bouquet, arranged by Le Coeur Sauvage, reflected the colors and mood of fall and blended seamlessly with the natural surroundings.

Another highlight was the elegant jewelry from So Helo, which was made from freshwater pearls and gave the bride a touch of elegance. Combined with soft make-up and an elegant updo by Maison Divine, the result was a harmonious and natural overall look.

The extraordinary wedding cake, which consisted of different types of French cheese and was decorated with autumnal fruits, deserved special attention. The small table on which the cake was presented was also decorated with the same flowers and fruit, which perfectly emphasized the autumnal mood. It was a challenge to decorate this table on the windy mountain top.

The inclusion of the sheep, which came from La Ferme de la Monédière, gave the shoot a special touch. The sheep, although a little shy in front of the camera at first, blended harmoniously into the scene and emphasized the connection to the surrounding nature.

A poem by the French poet Arthur Rimbaud, which was featured on the stationery for the shoot, perfectly summed up the atmosphere of the day:

“I will walk on paths through blue summer nights,
Stung by wheat, grass under my feet:
Dreaming, I will feel the coolness under my feet,
I let the wind bathe my bare head
Not a word, not a thought:
Infinite love will flow through my soul,
And I will wander far, very far, like a gypsy,
In nature – as happy as with a woman.”

This special day in the mountains of Monédières shows how the beauty of nature and the simplicity of life can merge to create an unforgettable wedding experience.
