Romantic Engagement Shoot in Bath

An inconspicuous place of even greater importance to the couple, delicate pastel colors with radiant luminosity and a little fury friend with an irresistible look – these are the cornerstones of this emotional romantic engagement shoot.

The bride, event planner Katie of Lily & Sage, left nothing to chance as she developed a coherent concept, which was closely connected to her and her fiancé.

„Bath has always had a special place in our hearts, which is why Tom and I chose Bath as the perfect setting for our engagement shoot with our good friend and photographer Katie Julia.“ the future Mrs. told us.

With only few accessories and some selected tools they transformed typical English lanes in their very own stage of love and enjoyed every moment despite this freezing cold.

„Even though it was December, I was determined to wear a dress. My sister Nancy (the other half of Lily & Sage) helped me to find the perfect elegant and feminine dress in a subtle dusky nude tone. Needless to say I was absolutely frozen during the shoot itself but we paired the dress nicely with a beautiful faux fur Whistles coat to help me to keep warm.“

And whenever she took off her cuddly coat both her future husband and her sweet dog were snuggling up to her.

„For now our little family to be wouldn’t be complete without our cheeky little french bulldog Harry, so it was essential that he came along too.“ Katie raves. „He was a fantastic (and I think you’ll agree gorgeous) model and will do pretty much anything for a treat.“

Whether with or without a treat, the enamored looks, the loving gestures and meaningful touches captured by photographer Katie Julia are honest and authentic.

We can literally see Katie and Tom in front of the altar and can imagine who´s going to be their cute little ring bearer…
