Royal Wedding Inspirations
An imposing castle, lined with perfect box trees and accurate hedges, serves as a stage for royal wedding inspirations.
The walls are faded and covered with ivy, decorated with washed-out stucco and fitted with large windows. The sight of the historic Chateau de Champlatreux leaves room for speculation as to what nobility once lived here.
Predestined for the imaginative story of photographer Alexandra Vonk, who takes us with her impressive pictures into an imperial world.
„This was the year of royal weddings, so when I decided on France for the editorial, the story I wanted to tell was about a daughter of a modern French queen.“ the event designer Janie Lucia of Idyll Stories explained.
With the creativity of Idyll Stories, the contemporary fairytale took shape. In the lead role: a young princess who returns home for her wedding. Her life away from the farm has changed and shaped her.
And so the centuries-old property is literally experiencing its second spring, through a traditional wedding with a modern twist. With the grace and elegance of a future queen and the self-confidence and courage of a cosmopolitan woman, she leads the rococo castle into her future…
In addition to the stylish interior and the antique paintings, it is above all the flower arrangements by Wild Blossom Flowers that create a connection between past and present: „For this spring wedding, we drew inspiration for our colors from Rococo paintings – violets, pale pink, lavender, and peach tones.“
Now it’s your turn to be inspired by Alexandra Vonks enchanting fairy tale with a happy ending…
