Spring wedding at picturesque Retreat to the Farm
“Love isn’t something you find. Love is something that finds you.”
Loretta Young
An avenue lined with magnificent trees reminiscent of the movie Pride and Prejudice leads directly to the picturesque country home Retreat to the Farm. Located in the heart of the San Francisco Bay Delta on Grand Island, this venue is an oasis ideal for a romantic wedding. With its European charm, it creates a unique setting for unforgettable moments.
You can hear the rustling of the treetops, the chirping of birds and enjoy the silence of nature. And a tree swing hanging from the huge oak tree behind the house will make every wedding couple’s dreams come true.
Photographic artist Yuliya Jul tells poetic stories with beauty and elegance with her worlds of images. Impressed, we marvel at her sense of the right moment, light and shadow, and her passion for sophisticated photography.
From Yuliya Jul :” Katie and David’s wedding day was just perfect. With the wind playing gently with Katie’s A-line wedding gown by Helen Miller Bridal, the couple exchange their vows under the canopy of trees. And their private first look was one of the most intimate I’ve ever witnessed. Everyone held their breath as Katie walked down the aisle, and David watched her with tears in his eyes as she came into his arms. The video and photo crew were far away, so the couple had a private moment holding hands, reading their vows and smiling at the magic of the moment.
Katie’s idea of a modern, romantic wedding led her to choose the farmhouse entrance as the ceremony site. The entryway has a touch of vintage charm and adds a timeless flair to the home. In addition, the Walnut and Main florist team worked hard to bring Katie’s vision of an idyllic garden around the antique door to life. And with a floral walkway leading to the door, the ceremony site was transformed into a field of spring flowers swaying in the breeze.”
