The scent of lemon at Villa Limonaia
This wedding shoot at Villa La Limonaia in Acireale, Sicily was inspired by lemons and Mediterranean joie de vivre. This villa, built in the mid-18th century, is known for its neoclassical style, blooming garden and its iconic role as the filming location for Francis Ford Coppola’s masterpiece “The Godfather III” in 1990.
This destination wedding at Villa La Limonaia drew its inspiration from the authentic Mediterranean atmosphere, vibrant colors and artistic elements captured in every detail by photographer Syrga Dif. In Italy, especially in regions such as the Amalfi Coast and Sicily, lemon groves have a deep-rooted cultural significance. Lemons therefore played a central role in the table decorations and flower arrangements.
Three words to describe this enchanting wedding day, a collaboration between Sparkling Moments, Still Miracle and Lana Wedding Planner: Luxury, Mediterranean charm and timeless elegance. The bride’s dress was by Luce Sposa, the boudoir dress by Larca Barcelona, and the groom’s suit by Yarmich Store. The authentic Mediterranean atmosphere was emphasized by a vibrant combination of lemons, blues and yellows.
The table decorations consisted of fresh lemons, which exuded a refreshing scent everywhere, immediately reminiscent of sunny Mediterranean orchards. Mediterranean blue napkins and candles perfectly complemented the white and blue tableware and added a playful touch to the table arrangement with lemons, grapes and flowers.
The floral arrangements and green accents, such as eucalyptus branches and olive branches, were integrated by BloomsFair to enhance the natural and fresh atmosphere.
