Romantic wedding dream by candlelight

A dreamy location where history meets contemporary design – the Kultur Gut Hasselburg on the Baltic Sea near Hamburg was the setting for a breathtaking wedding shoot, which was mainly illuminated by the magical power of candles. The imposing vault in which the shoot took place now shines after extensive restoration work. Surrounded by the natural beauty of the Baltic Sea, this location offers a unique backdrop for unforgettable wedding moments. It is even a romantic outdoor location of the registry office.

The shoot was photographed by Antonia Marie Lüders and surprisingly started with an acrobatic performance by the couple.

The bride wore a stunning wedding dress from Salon Hamburg – a three-piece masterpiece consisting of a voluminous A-line skirt, a cropped top and a jacket with draped puffed sleeves. In beige and cream, with integrated pleats, the dress lived from its volume and modern cut, which gave the bride a timeless look.

Special details and decorations set the scene for the shoot. The team around Weddingdesign Studio, Florale Werkstatt and Blumendekor staged key elements such as bows, candles, transparency through acrylic, flowing fabrics such as chiffon, natural materials such as sandstone and arty roses and created a dreamlike atmosphere. A Cake Bar with mini cakes and an Oyster Bar with an impressive Champagne Tower were very much on trend. Flowing chiffon hung from the ceilings, while table cards on elegant candlesticks greeted guests in the entrance area.

The wedding ceremony took place in a round seat setting, another new trend that plays with shapes and perspectives. A piano in the middle of the scenery created a cultural connection to the location and offered the opportunity for a live performance. The dinner setting surprised us with candle decorations with bows on the candles, without flowers. Handmade plates in wave form reflected the “flowing”, while structured candles made a statement and created a captivating tension curve in the design. A moon projection brought a special, magical touch to the wedding celebration. During the course of the shoot, you could see how the mood changed from day to night and the colors changed.

The overall concept of the wedding shoot was characterized by a colour palette in cream, white and beige tones with a touch of gold. The romantic candlelit atmosphere radiated modern, minimalist-classic design. A warm, cozy and dignified atmosphere was created to celebrate a high-quality design, a true wedding dream in candlelight.
