The magic of glamour and elegance
The breathtaking view of Rome, the beauty of its gardens and the historic spaces make Villa Aurelia an ideal setting for unforgettable events. Wedding planners Giorgia and Anna Veronica of Parade Wedding were inspired by this magical backdrop for a variety of wedding ideas. Enthusiastically we look at the images of Rossini Photography, which immerse us in a world full of aesthetics, elegance and style.
From Parade Wedding: “We started designing this styled shoot during the lockdown in Italy, when we had to reduce our work, but of course we kept dreaming: we wanted to talk about rebirth, looking for beauty and its forms. We involved an amazing team whose work exceeded all expectations.
With this editorial, we wanted to convey what luxury is for us: it’s not the pomp or the glitz. It is the magnificence hidden in the natural elegance of the details, carefully created and selected; it is the ability to emphasize authentic beauty, combining them in a harmonious yet unexpected way. We firmly believe that luxury can be achieved through harmony and balance between textures and colors. It can be built on a design that immediately arouses emotions, because each element is effortlessly part of the whole.
We were looking for a trained eye capable of capturing this beauty and rendering it as pure emotion: Claudia and Luca from Rossini Photography were the answer. Her fine art photography with bright, delicate and emotionally charged images was exactly what we were looking for. Just as for the video: Vanessa Illi realized it with her unique poetic touch.
Our setting was the beautiful and elegant Villa Aurelia, overlooking Rome from the hill, in one of the most iconic neighborhoods of the Eternal City.
Fresh and dried flowers were combined by the talented hands of Sartoria Floreale to create amazing installations for both the table and the ceremony. The delicate balance of the non-symmetrical floral installations that hung above the table and hugged the ceremonial arch, engage the eye in a circular search for the center, which is not found in any single element, but is given by the interplay of all the parts of the setting.
The table was rich in details and the combination between light and material elements was emphasized in each choice. Lunaria (Honesty) dried seed pods and pampas grass flowers were the focal point of the one-sided floral arch, and their lightness was completely offset by raw handmade pottery combined with a neutral mise en place.
Annika Toni Cakes ‘ cake emphasized the idea of playing with textures with its golden drops mixed with a soft floral decoration and a silk ribbon bow.
The colors used were soft and ethereal: white and gray with hints of gold, pale pink, mauve and sugar cane blue. Studio Alispi ‘s handmade stationery was delicate, though written on textured paper.
The bride, sweet and confident, beamed with joy with her large bouquet in her arms. She wore a tailored haute couture dress , in which many layers of tulle contrasted with small glass decorations and feathers on the bodice.
The jewelry she wore were unique pieces that emphasized femininity from simplicity, just as her makeup and hair aimed to accentuate the natural, beautiful colors of the striking bride.”
