An ode to love and freedom

Paris, the city of love, provided the perfect backdrop for Alix and Gabriel’s intimate and elegant wedding shoot. The newlyweds chose iconic locations in the city to capture their love in pictures, accompanied by photographer Cristèle Domanec, and deliberately eschewed the conventions of a traditional wedding.

Alix wore a breathtaking dress by designer Céline Ménard, model Hepburn. The dress was characterized by a low-cut halterneck top that immediately caught the eye. The side slits of the dress could be opened or closed as desired, giving Alix a seductive yet respectful elegance. The front of the dress resembled a shell and was decorated with French lace from Calais as well as tiny pearls and sequins, while the rest was made of heavy crepe. With her slender figure and girlish face, crowned with earrings by Lizeron, Alix radiated the unmistakable charm of a Parisian.

Gabriel embodied pure romance in a black suit from By Monsieur, which emphasized his dark, attractive charisma. Together they strolled through Paris, starting with a stay at the luxurious Ritz, from where they explored the city’s most charming sights.

Your first stop was the majestic Notre-Dame Cathedral and the newly restored Samaritaine. The bookshops on the banks of the Seine were also an essential part of their walk. The Louvre, with its impressive corridors and imposing pyramids, is a harmonious combination of tradition and modernity. The Palais Royal and the Boer Columns were also fascinating and made a surprisingly grandiose appearance. Spring was in full bloom and the two of them enjoyed the sun and the cherry blossoms.

We continued on to the Petit Palais with its unmistakable golden gate and the magnificent Pont Alexandre III. The highlight of their walk was undoubtedly the Trocadéro with its breathtaking view of the Eiffel Tower. As it got colder, Alix and Gabriel retreated to Café Millet to enjoy a glass of champagne. They had the whole floor to themselves. The cozy café with its flowery, spring-like decoration offered the perfect atmosphere for daydreams and tender moments. Alix took Gabriel’s bow tie and together they ended the day with macarons.

This iconic couple radiated passion and embodied glamor and irresistibility. Their love reflected the freedom, lightness and light-heartedness of youth and made the wedding shoot in Paris an unforgettable experience.
