Barbie bride inspiration

In this project, the team of photographer Luisa from Lulugraphie and Melanie from Brautfreundin took inspiration from the 90s and 2000s. The Barbie bridal shoot was staged in an Art Deco location, the Praktik Hotel in Barcelona.

Thanks to the current Barbie hype, it’s an absolute trend shoot. The designer Carolina Otaduy, whose fashion can also be found in the bridal store Brautfreundin, has provided some pieces from the current and upcoming collection for this purpose. And since these designs come from Barcelona, the team naturally chose this beautiful Spanish city for the editorial.

The bride wore two looks: once very modern with sophisticated pants, open at the sides with small buttons, combined with short top, with and without jacket. The second look was a dress, also modern and sleeveless cut, with wide leg neckline and open back.

Particularly striking was the large jewelry with wide necklace, earrings and bracelet by Vanessa Baroni, a very well done combination with the bridal fashion.

The subtle makeup and double-bun hairstyle of Paula Tsukino made the Barbie look perfect.
