Black Swan

As June walked towards me from the darkness
of the garden into the light of the door,
I saw for the first time the most beautiful woman on earth.
A startling face, burning dark eyes, a face so alive
I felt it would consume itself before my eyes.
Years ago I tried to imagine true beauty;
I created in my mind an image of just such a woman.
I had never seen her until last night.
Yet I knew long ago the phosphorescent color of her skin,
her huntress profile, the evenness of her teeth.
She is bizarre, fantastic, like someone in a high fever.
Her beauty drowned me. As I sat before her,
I felt I would do anything she asked of me

The Diary of Anais Nin Volume 1: 1931-1934

Artfully a crown of bold blossoms twine around her head and elegantly her dress huddles against every curve – both accentuate the beauty of a black bride.

Stylishly she opts against tradition, confidently she breaks the rules, and exotically she crosses the lines. To follow the way of her heart unconditionally…

For one of her famous photo workshops artist Darya of Thecablookfotolab  chose a very special location. With its artful mural paintings, ancient details and spacious gardens the venerable Villa Vigna Contarena in Italy offered the perfect backdrop for an exceptional shooting from every perspective.

Under her direction bridal inspiration blended with boudoir to showcase the entire range of beauty. Sensual and sexy yet graceful and elegant. An alluring mask by Sibo Designs, magnificent flowers by Bianco Weddings as well as a feathery veil were the accessories that accentuated different facets of femininity…

Photographer Sotiris Tsakanikas was one of the lucky participants of this amazing workshop and can´t wait to share his pictures with us now.
