Breathtaking wedding in front of the Chicago skyline

Who doesn’t know the famous Chicago skyline on the seemingly endless shore of Lake Michigan. Besides the close symbiosis of city and nature and the modern architecture, this city has many other remarkable highlights to offer.

Lindsay and Tom are a young, happy couple from this vibrant metropolis.  Despite their venue being the modern Chicago Illuminating Company, their wedding theme had a romantic feel.

The floral design by Life in Bloom featured a lush, artfully arranged ceremony arch in white and greenery, and the reception florals added an emotional twist to Lindsay’s modern look.

The striking bride chose a stylish modern wedding gown by Rime Arodaky with beautiful puff sleeves. Her hairstyle accentuated her modern, upscale style.

A particularly emotional moment was when Lindsay’s 90-year-old grandfather took to the dance floor. The exuberant and soulful mood, the stunning backdrop and a stylish array of inspiration conjured up a beautiful harmony.

Despite the pouring rain that day, everyone was in high spirits. Tamara Gruner lets us share in this atmosphere with her magical images and marvel at the breathtaking backdrop at the famous Wrigley Building on Michigan Ave and the Chicago Art Institute in Chicago.
