Classically elegant wedding on Lake Como
Phyu and Hai’s charming wedding was celebrated at the picture perfect Villa Lario Resort, on Lake Como. Lately, many brides are choosing classic, chic and timeless wedding decorations that they will be proud to show their children one day. Phyu was one of them. She wanted light, pure floral arrangements that looked like white clouds against the beautiful background of Lake Como, giving them an oriental touch. For the ceremony, they opted for white flowers mixed with greenery and arrangements in a form of half sphere on the ground so that they did not block the magnificent view of the lake, but still provided a stylish background for the couple. Transparent chairs and a white carpet were used to make the ceremony weightless and light. White floral clouds along the island completed the look.
The bride wore a voluminous wedding gown by Ellis Bridals that featured lace on top, an elegant layered bottom, train and silky fabric, and upswept hair with a veil. To match her classic dress, the bride chose a round, laconic bouquet of English roses. The groom chose a white jacket, along with the pants, bow tie and pocket square in black.
The ceremony was incredibly beautiful located by the lake and especially emotional with mutual vows. During the ceremony the guests used oriental parasols – it looked very harmonious and gave a feeling of mixing cultures – East and West, Asian and European.
After the ceremony, the couple had plenty of time for couple photos with Vivid Symphony magically capturing the couple in front of the lake. The wedding party enjoyed the afternoon outside in the beautiful gardens of the villa. In the evening, dinner was served at the villa. Anna Gayduk‘s floral decor for the dinner was done in a minimalist, clean style – white flowers with no greenery, crystal candlesticks and white candles. With the help of Iles Events, everything was perfectly coordinated down to the last detail.
The bride and groom changed for the evening. The bride wore a second off-the-shoulder wedding dress without a train, with her hair down. The highlight of the night was the first dance and the cutting of the wedding cake, celebrated outside with fountains in the background.
