Colorful on the beach of Bali

Nyanyi Beach in Bali offers a fascinating contrast between the tranquil beauty of the black sand and the lush greenery that surrounds it. This stunning backdrop served as the perfect canvas for the styled shoot, which combined the allure of the beach with the artistic essence of antiquity. Photographer Matthew Lim of Singapore-based Depth of Tales wanted to create an unforgettable visual experience that transcends time and culture, seamlessly blending the natural and historical elements.

Two wedding dresses from Memoro Bridal were used. The collection emphasizes delicate femininity with chiffon, tulle and lace. The use of light, flowing fabrics fit very well with Nyanyi Beach, which means “singing” or “singing along” in a gentle breeze. The bride wore two dresses with different hair and make up looks by stylist Silviana, as many brides now include a dress and look change on their wedding day.

Inspired by the vibrant aesthetics of ancient art, the team has decorated the beach with an array of bright, pop colors and floral decorations. Columns reminiscent of the grandeur of ancient architecture were decorated with bold, eye-catching hues and lush floral arrangements by La Doux Florist. This fusion of modernity and history, as well as the combination of the delicate bride with equally delicate but strikingly colorful flowers and the unexpected columns on the beach make the shoot a special highlight.
