Contemporary All-White Wedding
The wedding of Maria-Eleftheria and Evangelos was a mix of modernity and elegance all-white. The courtyard of the luxurious The Margi Hotel in Athens was the ideal place to welcome the 40 guests the couple invited to their big day.
For the ceremony and reception, the couple wanted a minimal aesthetic with gold accents, all-white flowers and a modern approach. They paid close attention to detail with their wedding planner, Phaedra Liakou, and most importantly, a perfect art de la table.
The wedding dress by Pronovias was made of high quality lace with a cut out back, long sleeves and a train. Only the groom made an exception to the color theme and chose a classic black tailored suit by Merkos Manolopoulos.
The ceremony took place in a modern Greek chapel on the Athens Riviera. As the couple came out, rice was joyfully thrown by the guests.
The venue welcomed the wedding party with white set tables. Lush flowers by Felicia Floral Design, sparkling tableware, beautiful menu graphics and table numbers inspired by Love Me Do‘s invitation cards complemented the all-white decor concept. Guest favors included white almonds, which were packaged in a pretty and modern way with a white flower-shaped candle from Lunadi candles.
Complementing the all-white wedding cake with white flowers from Pavlov Lab were other small pastries.
The bride changed for the evening and now wore a high-necked dress with long sleeves that shimmered elegantly in the candlelight. There was a champagne pyramid, a saxophonist, and the highlight was the couple’s opening dance, followed by a cheerful party with the guests. Photographer: Vasilis Kouroupis
