Dreamy bridal picnic with a sea of flowers
I really have the most wonderful job in the world. Time and again I get to marvel at creative worlds of inspiration designed with a lot of heart and soul. Event designer Haley Horsfall of Design by WED inspires with her plethora of magical ideas from floral carts, to cute baby goats, to a plump picnic table.
Charleston wedding photographer Hannah Alyssa didn’t miss a detail and impresses with her great images.
From Design by WED: “Though just a short drive from downtown Charleston, Kiawah River seems a world away – a world complete with boundless land where wild flowers flourish, baby goats graze and produce grows in abundance. Inspired by the fields, farm and flora of Kiawah River, our vision of an organic bridal picnic came to life.
The Lowcountry’s breathtaking scenery, including sweeping live oaks dripping Spanish moss, played backdrop to our Bloom Bar. Here, the girls selected from a variety of beautiful blooms, from larkspur to hellebores to honeysuckle and jasmine vines. Our bride bundled together a whimsy bouquet (by ) while her closest gals adorned a hat and filled a basket with their favourite florals.
The celebration continued as the girls said “hello” to the newest (and cutest!) animals on the farm and enjoyed a picnic under the oaks before ending the day frolicking in the fields, florals in tow.”
