Elegant floral abundance in Belgium

Emily and Aris’ wedding was a true testament to timeless elegance and rustic charm, wrapped in romance with a fresh twist. The couple had a clear vision of how they wanted to transform their chosen venue, Hove van Herpelgem in Belgium, into a dreamy wonderland of breathtaking floral arrangements.

The journey began with a heartwarming marriage proposal staged by Aris at the Begijnhof in Kortrijk and photographed by Elisabeth Van Lent. Surrounded by her closest family and friends, he got down on one knee and asked Emily to be with him forever – a magical moment she will remember forever.

Emily looked stunning in a formfitting white gown from by Prima Donna, accentuated with intricate lace details. Later, she changed into a comfortable wedding jumpsuit for dancing to “Fly Me to the Moon” by Frank Sinatra during the first dance.

The color palette of the wedding with beige, nude, white, soft brown and shades inspired by these tones perfectly matched the relaxed and cheerful atmosphere. Every detail was thoughtfully chosen, from the champagne glasses garnished with pink cotton candy to the extraordinary floral arrangements created by Julie of Maison Julie and Marlies, the creative mind behind Dame Blanche Events. Pale brown leaves replaced the traditional greenery and gave the arrangements a unique touch. The real eye-catchers, however, were the enchanting floral arch that served as a stunning backdrop for the ceremony and the original “flower clouds” that hung from the ceiling of the dining room. The guests were amazed when they looked at the dreamy scenery, which the couple had imagined exactly like this.

The 192 wine glasses, which served as name cards for the table setting, were artfully decorated with calligraphy, giving them a very personal touch. Emily and Aris’ personal logo became an integral part of the wedding styling and adorned the vintage car, stationery, bar on a bicycle, and even the bar with vases filled with dried flowers given to guests as a thank you gift.

All the lovely wedding details with floral clouds and hand written wine glasses made the wedding design perfect.
