Elegant Pre-Wedding Session in Venice

With its unique architecture, culture and history, Venice has a unique and captivating aura that makes it the perfect setting for a romantic pre-wedding photo shoot.

Event stylist and planner Lisa Giolo from Italianluxevents knows every hidden gem of this romantic city. Together with her team she strolled through the small streets to stage this impressive photo shoot, while photo artist Anja Schneemann captured the most beautiful moments with her camera:

Lisa Giolo told: “We began our session with Sofia and Ludwig at St. Mark´s Square, capturing our young couple in front of the Basilica while the sparkling of the gold-encrusted mosaic facade reflected the sunrise light and under the marvelous ornate Venetian Gothic Style arches of Palazzo Ducale or Doge’s Palace, the most famous palace in all Venice. Then we planned a Gondola ride, because of timeless legend where couples believe that if they kiss while drifting under the Bridge of Sigh, as the St. Mark’s bell tower ring out, they will enjoy eternal love and happiness.

Sofia & Ludwig are Italian, they know each other since 8 years. They love to travel around the world, they love fashion and fitness.

That´s why we decided to go bold & glamourous: Sofia wowed in an amazing ombré black glittering evening gown from Daalarna Couture, enhanced by a fabulous lush and colorful bridal bouquet from Pretty Flowers and Julia Götz did a sophisticated yet natural makeup and hairstyling, perfectly complimented with a statement headpiece from Gibson Bespoke.

Ludwig in a black tuxedo looked amazingly elegant as well, and the couple walking in the streets and posing didn´t stay long unnoticed by travelers and tourists! The matching stationery from Bonjour Paper set features a bespoke sketch of the Rialto Bridge and the save the date is a unique silver-engraved on black acrylic plate.

This memorable day for Sofia and Ludwig entirely captured by fine art wedding photographer Anja Schneemann, ended with a luxury private motor-launch ride along the Grand Canal, “the most beautiful street in the world”. A non-stop succession of palaces disclosed under their eyes to San Marco basin at the sunset light turned Venice even more romantic.”
