Emotional Tuscany Elopement
Fine art photographer D’Arcy Benincosa soothes our day with her images of an emotional Tuscany elopement.
There are meter-high pines and bushy olive trees that adorn the property. It belongs to an ivy-covered stone house, with a red roof and small windows. In it bride and groom get ready together for their big moment.
Just outside, in the garden of Villa Lavanda, the two meet again. She enters the ceremony in a light blue wedding dress by Leanne Marshall, he already awaits her in a midnight blue suit. Accompanied by violin music, they exchange their vows. Surrounded only by the unique nature of Tuscany – and their all-time confidants.
A loving kiss and a rain of soft rose petals seal the vow and ring in the informal part of the day. The dinner table is already waiting in the courtyard decorated with fairy lights and terracotta pots. Ornate calligraphy paper by Julie Ha Calligraphy reveals that fine delicacies and delicious local wine are about to be served.
We see them laugh, celebrate and enjoy. We discreetly draw back and release the wedding party into the night…
We can only assume that event planner Rhiannon Bosse has staged and organized this special day to the complete satisfaction of the bride and groom. Anyway, we are thrilled with the skills of the wedding planner and photographer D’Arcy Benincosa, who makes us feel like we’ve been part of this wonderful, intimate Tuscany wedding.
